My buddy and I went to this game. We were first row of 200 level, near the Hawk's Nest, the end zone Feely missed the kicks towards. During halftime, my buddy and I were watching Feely practice kicking to that side, and he was missing them. The wind was screwing with him. I turned to my buddy, "I hope it doesn't come down to field goals, but if it does, I'm so glad we don't have Feely, and have Josh Brown." That was the loudest event I've ever been to. My ears were hurting for over 24 hours. My throat was sore for two days from yelling. I've been to many metal shows, been up front for many, including Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slipknot, and others. None of them compared to this game. Closest might have been Rammstein this year. Thank you for the memories of this game!

I like to think Otis Anderson if we're talking about the Giants. If you look at his career, the fact he had 1k yards in his age 32 season when he was at a point, and age where it could've been the end for him is terrific. Tiki I think is only underrated by people in New York because of how he made his exit strategy. Which is a shame its marred his career it appears because he was a heck of a player.

Really weird thing about this game is that this was Fox's main DH second game seen by most the country. However, Buck and Aikman called the Eagles-Packers game. On paper that was set to no doubt be the original main game since both teams were division winners one season ago, but since each team was struggling it was just a regional game. But for whatever reason, Fox gave this game to their number 2 crew even as it had widespread distribution. This 2005 Seahawks team that made it to the super bowl did not get a lot of media coverage; most of their games on Fox were called by the number 5 crew of Curt Menefee and J.C. Pearson or the number 6 crew of Ron Pitts and Tim Ryan.
Yeah I find that strange because they were good in 2003 and 2004, having made the playoffs both years. If they implemented flex scheduling, this should’ve been the Sunday night game or something. Of course, the next season is when that came into play. Good eye!
Shaun Alexander was a great running back but he was never the same after all time great Steve Hutchinson left when he became the highest paid guard in history going to the vikings
missing that great clip of Shockey hot dogging it at the camera and then his surprise at Feely's first FG miss. The highlight of the 2005 season for me as an Eagles fan
One of a few Giants losses I’ll watch in entirety. Heartbreaking loss but kinda helps tell the story of the eventual 2007 Super Bowl. A well played game between two great teams
You gotta give the assist the 12th man: The Crowd. They made it tough on the OL of the Giants. Days later it was show on NFL Game of the week on the NFL network.
2:12. Man. 🤦🏾♂️ seeing that headline is crazy. Fitzpatrick's 1st game, Steve McNair before he died & LaDainian Tomlinson when he was in his *PRIME* & the best in the league
For a couple years ecspecially 02 through 05 both walter jones and steve hutchinson were both top 3 at their positon at worst and their bread and butter play was running to that left side and i think the seahawks regret letting steve hutchinson sign with the vikings
But in a mirror universe where the Hawks pay Hutch and let Shaun walk, is Maurice Morris as productive? Besides, SA might have done some of his best running (believe it or not) after he came back in 2006. Just injuries caught up with him for good the next year.
A key note from this game: The Seahawks finished the season at 13-3 with the NFC number one seed and a Super Bowl berth and the Giants finished 11-5 and the 4 seed. Had the Giants won and with having the tiebreaker, they could’ve been the 1 seed. Maybe they could’ve won the Super Bowl two years earlier than expected?

Good eye!
Always love the content that this channel puts out!! Didn’t realize I wasn’t subscribed, so I’m a new subscriber. Keep up the good work!! 👍
Glad to hear it!!!
2:12 FITZMAGIC
Shaun Alexander was a great running back but he was never the same after all time great Steve Hutchinson left when he became the highest paid guard in history going to the vikings
The stadium will once again be full of 12s this year can't wait for the season and the sound of Lumen rocking
It will be even louder this season!
That feely guy has to feel great losing the game 3 times
Great content
I was in 6th grade the giants were my life. This loss was painful. Never forgave Jay Feely…
I love how the Seahawks customized a game ball and made it for the fans after this game
Really?! That’s awesome!!
@@metaloreo8423 Yep, head coach in press conference dedicated it to the 12th man.
Jeremy Shockey was a BEAST!
missing that great clip of Shockey hot dogging it at the camera and then his surprise at Feely's first FG miss. The highlight of the 2005 season for me as an Eagles fan
Elliot Harrsion really makes this channel legendary.
But keeping it real, it feels like the media as a whole loves to throw shade on the Giants 😝😂
2:46 My has things flipped a 180° for the first bullet point 15 years later 😂
My first year as a giants fan. I was so heated
One of a few Giants losses I’ll watch in entirety. Heartbreaking loss but kinda helps tell the story of the eventual 2007 Super Bowl. A well played game between two great teams
This is the game Osi Umenyiora dominated Walter Jones..Giants should have won this game.
But the Giants didn't have the 12th man behind them. They had the 12th mad against them.
Seahawks content >>>>>
You gotta give the assist the 12th man: The Crowd. They made it tough on the OL of the Giants. Days later it was show on NFL Game of the week on the NFL network.
2:12. Man. 🤦🏾♂️ seeing that headline is crazy.
Fitzpatrick's 1st game, Steve McNair before he died & LaDainian Tomlinson when he was in his *PRIME* & the best in the league
This game just had me on the edge like it was live😂😂😂
I love how they showed the young fitzmagic in the beginning
Who is here after Carolina had 8 flase starts
For a couple years ecspecially 02 through 05 both walter jones and steve hutchinson were both top 3 at their positon at worst and their bread and butter play was running to that left side and i think the seahawks regret letting steve hutchinson sign with the vikings
But in a mirror universe where the Hawks pay Hutch and let Shaun walk, is Maurice Morris as productive?
Besides, SA might have done some of his best running (believe it or not) after he came back in 2006. Just injuries caught up with him for good the next year.
Well I know exactly where I was on this day. At Reliant Stadium watching FitzMagic cut up the Texans in OT. Such. Painful. Memories.
A key note from this game:
The Seahawks finished the season at 13-3 with the NFC number one seed and a Super Bowl berth and the Giants finished 11-5 and the 4 seed. Had the Giants won and with having the tiebreaker, they could’ve been the 1 seed.
Maybe they could’ve won the Super Bowl two years earlier than expected?
Who remembers Marcus trufant pro bowl cornerback and spended most of his career with seattle
The Seahawks stadium is very intimidating when with fans.It feels like you are somewhere overseas far from USA
The best seahawks uniform by a country mile
More 2000s games!
This felt like a playoff game
Joe Jurevicius in '05 was a beast
My favorite Seahawk team. Go hawks
