Honestly the whole Constructicons team is looking sick as hell either in vehicle or robot mode, this project is looking absolutely amazing. While the Bay verse is hated, I have to admit, it was the decepticon designs that were so unique but because of how bizarre some of them looked and the constructicons team is one hell of a bunch! Honestly loving it. Once you complete the whole team, having them displayed all together is gonna be one hell of a sight as we never got the whole team together in robot mode all in one shot in the movie so this is gonna be sick. Glad SS is absolutely killing the Devastator project. That's when you know a company deserves our money. ❤Thanks Emgo as always for the awesome reviews.

The decepticons, the majority of the them were fine but then you had autobots like Que/Wheeljack who is one of the smartest autobot scientists to exist but did they really have to model him after a robot Albert Einstein?! Then there's Drift who's face looks literally so human like that it's actually cringey. Idk why but Hound and Crosshairs were fine, I seriously don't get why Drift gives me so much cringe lol. Other than that, while some of their designs really were DRASTICALLY different from their G1 counterparts, in the end it still worked. Pretty awesomely too in some cases like Ironhide. 😂

The design crew could have maybe taken some hints from them and modeled the faces of the Autobots from AOE and TLK to appear like them.But that's what I'm assuming. I'm sorta fine with that but then again the gewunners need to shut tf up.

Buckethead, Hightower, and Scrapmetal all formed the left arm, so in order for it to fit the Studio Series Line, one had to be cut because 2 deluxes could make the arm alone. And Payload got cut because although he and Skipjack made the left leg, he's the exact same size as Long Haul who forms the right leg alone, so it also wouldn't fit.
The transformation step at 5:15/5:42 reminds me of the Hildolfr. The wheel conversion is pretty neat. It's a pity you can't switch the wheels around like Demolisher was seen doing a lot.
Y’know the vehicle mode had me like “wow we finally get an actual leader sized figure for studio series” but then it’s just like “well this leader is like half an inch taller than megatron”
i have five of them; longhaul, skipjack, mixmaster, hightower, and scrapper. i will be able to get the lower half in a month or two, and itll only be a matter of time till i get the last three. not including the one i will get in about a month. including that its only two remianing.
Thanks for clearing up the shoulder assembly for robot mode where the articulated arms connect to the the wheel over his head! The photo on the back of the box shows it backwards and it just don't work like that.
For anyone who doesn’t know, you can actually get Scavenger to stand unsupported on one wheel. The ridges on his bottom wheel can actually get him to stay in place. A little shaking might be able to knock him over, but he actually will stand pretty dark securely on a flat, level surface. When I realized this, Scavenger instantly went from a 7 to a 10 in my book.
Yes emgo there should but with smaller construction vehicles you will see what’s called a rock grate in place of windows but usually you’ll see rock grates on skid steers and some times on small bulldozers

Might be a little late but just got mine and found that using half of a wooden cloths pin (the kind with the spring) you can put that under his wheel and it will stabilize him enough to stand without using his arms. Hope this is helpful to anyone.

Hi Emgo! I wanted to answer your question (since you know nothing on construction vehicles ) regarding Scavenger at 1:53. Yes, he should have a window there; every excavator (including Scavenger's alt mode, the Terex RH 400) has a front window so the operator can see where they need to dig. Guess Hasbro didn't think that one through. On the plus side, it isn't anything a Sharpie couldn't fix.
Again confused... Demolishor was the name of the voyager class and it was white in the movie and the concept art (Red) it was to scavenger. So, we have a demolishor (white excavator) and scavenger (red excavator)
The total price to buy all constructicons should be around $260 I had so other fans help come up with this number so if you want to buy all studio series figures at the same time it would cost $260 Which is a reasonable price

I don’t know if you figured this out by now, but I just found out a correct way to position the back struts in combined mode. If you fold the tips so that they are under the lower section of the strut and above the wheel, they will go next to scavengers head, they sit comfortably in that cavity and don’t stick out.. It also makes attaching mixmaster a lot easier because the clips are in the correct spots

Your right, there is supposed to be a window in the front but because they put the arm joint right in front of the cab , they moved the cab back . I guess they thought there was no reason for the window because you wouldn't be able to see the ground.
He looks great just as all the constructicons do but I would prefer all the constructicons accurately scaled alongside each other than combining into Devastator imo. Scavenger, Hightower and Long Haul should be HUGE compared to the rest.

I like to imagine that scavenger is smaller and demolisher is just gigantic! After all we never see scavenger in robot mode? It's like how grindor is bigger than blackout. Also emgo should get the original legends class devastator. I have him and he's fun, he's drawn my blood because his combined mode connections are so tight but he's fun.
In my opinion, I think the 2009 Scavenger is a better toy in terms of it being unique, the Studio Series version looks clearly better vehicle mode, but what set the huge difference, in my opinion, was the engineering. The treads actually transform into the wheels and the top wheel can actually move for more possibility. It's just my opinion and everyone's entitled to their own.
