No matter how many times I've watched this episode, that ending always makes me laugh! McGarrett was so cool and slick those criminals didn't' see what was coming! 😁🙌👍
Great ending. At least McGarrett didn't try and impersonate a airline pilot like Dirty Harry did in "Magnum Force"! lol ("Excuse me, Captain... I know this may sound silly. But can you fly?" "Nope, never had a lesson.")
The ending is a classic. Unfortunately, it tends to obscure the fact that the plot has more holes than a package of Swiss cheese. For example, when they blow up the armored car to steal the traveler's checks, how come the two guards are burned to "toast," according to Chin Ho, but the traveler's checks aren't burned? A lot more.
Hawaii Five-0 would never top the ep starring ultra-sexy Beverlee McKinsey as killer Jo Louise. This ep here was for nothing. It came after McKinsey's great ep.
Good episode in a great year for the show but the whole caper fell apart after that guy on the plane (Glenn Cannon) got sick and they had to bump him off.
I like the upbeat, swinging version of the “Five-O” theme song that plays as the police cars drive up to the plane.
"The perfection of the plan triumphed even over your needless excursions into violence"
I love it when Mr. McGarrett gets sneaky.
Yeah, right there at the end...un fu..ing believeable! caught again by Mr. Perfect Hair!
LoL! I Loved McGarrett's perfect hair. Loved Jack Lord!
Steve stopping the bad guys as best as ever
Barnaby Jones as a bad guy and David Canary as pre-Adam Chandler
Jed Clampett!
Too funny last two minutes, aloha suckers!
2 thumbs up to Jack Lord he always gets his man.
Except for Wo Fat

Aloha, aloha suckers!!!!!
The best part is when the original Steve McGarrett uses the p. a. system and tells everybody: "Aloha, suckers".

The back of the armored car is separate from the cab.
Just old entertainment, Sherlock we ain’t
Departure time 7:14... I wonder if that was a subtle tribute to Jack Webb...
No.
McGarretts best was stopping the arsonist asking where was the fire.

STEVE IS SO COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
great ending... mcgarrett at his best 24/7 cop? 15-20 years aloha suckers.😄
A big unabridged book 'em for Uncle Jed. Back up the bus, Danno.
That lady who was the stewardess also appears in the scene when they were going to Honolulu.
Beautiful isn't she!
Uncle Jed!
Aloha, suckers.
Barney Jones you going to Jail
I believe this was the only time I have seen Buddy Ebsen play a bad guy. I also think he did this role before he did Barnaby Jones.
Actors like to break out of typecast roles. Buddy Ebsen probably liked to play a bad guy for a change after playing Uncle Jed for a long while.
@@artytoons In 1973. He played Barnaby Jones, a 65 year old private detective. He wears a seer sucker suit being Hawaii is humid.
classic mcGarrett
Whoa Doggie
