CSR2 BMW Z4 M40i Tempest 3 T3 Setup and Tune NO S6.

- The BMW M40i is one of those t3s that can get through all of tempest 3 challenges without any stage 6s. This is a great thing since it makes this car one of the easiest to build for Tempest 3 tier 3.
Once more you saved me lots of time with your reasoning about what upgrade stages to use, or better not to use. I choose the Z4 over the LB M4 Coupé because I love that car also in RL and thought I'd give it a chance. When I got stuck at the 135 speed trap I knew it was time to browse you videos et voila, no disappointment! You have the solutions when I haven't reached my problem yet! Big thanks for your phenomenal work!!

Max, i love your content in general but you said golden words on this one. Because the car is the fastest in tier 1, 2, and 3 there is no need for it to run below dyno time either and anyone who can beat this car has to do so with sheer skill.
I believe Varis Civic may have it beat now. But it's still close races.

My Ferrari California is actually my fastest tier 3 car. My BMW ACS8 is my 2nd fastest tier 4 car behind my Jaguar F type coupé. Those Jags are beasts
California is fast enough for T3. But you need S6s.

Yeah this PC cup was very easy. This car is so fast it makes tempest 3 easy too.
You don't need any stage 6. If you strip m230i's, max it with just fusions, and you can beat dyno by nearly 200th of a second. Quick shift in to 3rd and nos straight away 💪🏼💪🏼🍻

Talk about pressure! Hearing this forces you to get it done, regardless if the M40i was on your radar or not...at least for me. In fact, I almost sent an apology. One can almost feel Max's breath, 23hrs later, asking, "are you done??" Remember when your dad wasn't angry, but rather, he was "just disappointed?" Anyways, don't let it haunt you into biting a hole in your lip but don't leave it on the back burner either. 😂😂😂

@@maxthegamerOG This is my favourite CSR2 channel. When I turn on the game, I come here often, for specifics, or put on DL's stream where you guest host. It's great for the chatter in the background and you never know what you're going to learn. But I always come here first. It is relaxing (relax rhymes with Max), there is serious depth and yes, a few unsuspecting laughs...some intended, some not. I tune in for the depth but the nature of those three elements combined is why it is the most enjoyable for me personally.
That said, here is something I am hoping for. Tuning Fundamentals. There are several tuning videos but most seem to be full of language which assumes the listener already knows something. What does evo actually mean? What does beating dyno actually mean? Is it necessary? Why? And when do we do it? When we tune 'A' in this direction, this is what is actually happening to 'B' and 'C' and it translates to your car in 'this way.' If you move 'C' like this, it affects 'A' and 'B' like this and translates to your car in 'this way.'
Does that video exist? The who, what, where, when, why and how which doesn't take for granted that the listener undertood anything before they pushed play?
Here is an example of something. When I first started tuning, I was told to "move my evo as high as I can" and then tweak a little each way to fine tune the number. But I found a situation where my sweet spot was nowhere near the evo number it seemed. So I was left confused. DL has a great tuning video but what I am suggestion is something way more in depth. Does it exist? Your thoughts?

So I am looking forward to those, too. I am still planning for TEMPEST therefore I visit that series at a fairly high frequency. There is no sense in me spending the $900K yet (which you have unknowingly advised me).

@@maxthegamerOG i have now the race :) i am no on the 50/50 race i have no s6 only the tires are s6 i have 553pp idk can i win the race? My tuning is 3.1sec Nitro, 1.50 and 100/0 Tires
@@a.r0023 Do you have full fusions? My car is not missing any fusions. Also, the final drive seems low. Test run the car in Dyno area and make sure you can beat 8.9 time.
How did you get the final speed up to 140... Mine is only running 131
Are you fully fusioned? For this car it usually means lowering tire grip a little bit and using nitrous slightly later.
@@maxthegamerOG I am missing a few. I used the m4 coupe for tempest 2 so a little short on bmw fusions. I'll try that, thanks for the tip
took a bit of fiddling but I was able to get a 135.1... whew

Is acs4 better option
It is an option. Off of memory, I recall ACS4 is very similar, but somehow, the regular one is easier to use for tempest.
Can this setup work with the ACS4 too?
They are very similar, but I have not tested the Acs4 the same way yet.

How do u get the cars starred?
Any car pulled from keys will be star cars. Don't buy dealership ones if you want good cars.

@@inksans1098 this is why you should live race, even with a T1. That is a source of keys. There are multiple cups in the season that gives keys as well. Save up a bundle before spending them.

@@inksans1098 it was a PC car. Unfortunately the chance of getting it randomly is very low. However, if you save silver keys, next season's x10 silver keys car is a good tier 4.
