All the cute awkward male SW characters are nicknamed brown eyes. Remember Din’s helmetless scene in s2 ep7 of Mando? But in all seriousness Tech’s adorable awkwardness is everything. He had no idea how to handle being flirted with.
I feel like this is the main reason why the Bad Batch didn't go back to Pabu right away when they got hurt... They didn't know how to break the news to Phee. They knew that they were smitten, which is not something that any of them had experienced before, so losing Tech and witnessing the aftermath of his hopeful future was too much for them.

I'm pretty sure they could receive medical attention from Pabu, but because of the destruction of the facility, they don't want to be followed and risk their new home being endangered. Cid deserves to have her bar destroyed for all the emotional damage she caused the Bad Batch, anyway.
Yeah I’m really not wanting to see her reaction in season 3. But does anyone else think tech is actually alive? I have many theories that I’m to lazy to type out (but willing to discuss if anyone wants to hear) I mean I honestly don’t think he’s dead. I mean we never see his body, the rest of the batch crashes from a similar height and survives, they never look for his body then suddenly hemlock shows up with his mostly intact goggles (which don’t you have to remove the helmet to get? Kinda hard to do if that’s that’s “the only thing remaining”). Hemlock is probably holding him hostage. I think Omega and Crosshair will find him. Plus the goggles are always recording so maybe that will show what actually happened?

It could be possible that Tech isn't actually dead gone. Maybe he fell into the forest or a lake and went into survival mode on the Eriadu. But the Bad Batch still don't know how they're gonna break Tech's presumed death to Phee.

For Tech defense, in the narration, he is a clone soldier, following tasks, going on missions, training, fighting, etc... Of course he is oblivious someone is flirting with him. Of course he doesn't react, or doesnt know how to react. Technically, Tech and all the clones have zero knowledge about love, romance, flirting, and affection.
As painful as it'd have been painful to see, it pains me we never got to see how Phee reacted to Tech's death. That would have been a powerfully emotional scene.
