I don’t think Wrecker actually didn’t know what she was. I think it was more “one of these things is not like the other” effects. I mean, she does bear a resemblance to the clones her age.
And then Tech had to be hyper-literal Captain Obvious.
To be fair, it's kinda hard to tell Omega is a female if that is your first encounter (I'm guilty as charged...)

You know… sometimes the comments they make really do bring it home that in terms of general social development, they’re just 12yo boys. (Except Echo, who’s the senior guy at a whopping 13.) 🙈.
And I’m going to say it again: they’re supposed to look mid-20, not mid-30’s. Then again, Disney Lucasfilm doesn’t have a great track record for utilizing age-accurate actors for a lot of their leading males… 🤦♀️
But there their ages have nothing to do with Disney…
Isn't Echo a bit younger than that? I don't think he's gen 1. and weren't kaminoans starting to send out clones a bit younger by that point to keep up with demand? (I only vaguely remember that, maybe I'm misremembering)
@@creepydude94 The timeline is a tough one to maneuver. I agree that he’s not Gen 1 like Cody and Rex. But he was already stationed on Rishi by the time Ahsoka joined the 501st.
The Clone Wars lasted from 22-19BBY, but that’s not necessarily exactly 36 months. Without knowing more about their calendar, we can conclude it’s somewhere between 36 and 47 months. We do know Ahsoka servers for 3 years (from 14-17) despite her not joining until Anakin was already knighted. My suspicion is that Echo was essentially a Gen 2, about 6 months behind the Gen 1’s; and that the Gen 1’s were about 13.5 at the time of Order 66.
The real question is exactly how old TBB are.
Wouldn't going through war make them look older though cause of all shit they could've gone through?
