- The large space where the piano is in Battersea Power Station Mall felt it would be good to play my Hans Zimmer medley of Interstellar and Time (from the movie Inception). Look at the lady who stops and leans and watches. The music from Hans Zimmer has the ability to connect souls and pull your memories. She just leans and watches, and I think she goes on a musical journey!
Actually, there are two public pianos at Battersea Power Station, which is pretty cool - one is in a bit more of a secluded area but the other is in this open space at the back where the stairs are. It's overlooked from the floor above and I think the sound would carry around really well.

@@ColeLam 100%. It was, not to sound too cliche', simply magical. It goes from one very familiar melody into a hybrid melody that almost plays mind games. Your mind is bouncing between both of them "Interstellar amazinnnggg" and "ohhh Time...soo melancholy yet inspirational". Then the endorphin charged epiphany when the first fades and the second comes in full and your mind gets to fully embrace Time.
That's seriously the best I've ever heard them blended. Best I've heard any two songs. To be honest, it wasn't a transition at all. Both sides were a transcendence to the next piece and back.

When an artist can twist a composition at will to their own way it really adds a new layer of amazingness. You know he didn't just memorize a finger pattern.

Played lovely! One of the best master piece
This is a really stirring piece Cole, I think you have another couple of videos playing this at St Pancras but I am fairly certain that in this arrangement, you show much more passion. The crowd have to be patient as the pace and volume build and give them their due, they all stayed and listened and watched. The expression on your face also showed just how much you were throwing yourself into the performance. You know, I love to hear you play all genres of music, if for no other reason than to prove that you can make them all sound great. Loved this !!

Hans Zimmer has to be one of my absolute favorite composers. I’ve seen a lot of movies with his music in it but I believe for me the movie that actually made me fall in love with his composing ability and where I recognized him as a teenager was a movie called Tears of The Sun. I recommend everyone listen to that soundtrack, but also watch the movie because it’s a great film and also Bruce Willis did an amazing job in that movie. This absolutely beautiful.
