This was Zhou Shen performed at " The Masked singer" show 6 years ago. He was not as famous then as now. He really wanted people to concentrate listen to his singing rather than having people casting prejudice and focusing on discussing a male singer possessing female vocals. He dressed like a female he did his best performance as he always did. All the judges and audience paid high respect and fell in love with his beautifal rendition of various songs.

Right, I can't believe how popular he is. Coffee & Reactions used to call him "little Prince" but now he's risen to king it seems. I kind of miss the old days when he was just being discovered. He's a real star now!

His reply then was he preferred to be behind the mask, as people will then focus on his singing and not on his look, or that his voice doesn't match his look. So heartbreaking to hear his reply. So glad he has made it now. His status now has been elevated to represent China in many overseas engagements, he is now recognised as a national treasure!
Yes we miss your reaction to Zhou Shen songs. Recently he has been busy with his concerts around China. On June 1 he sang for 3 hours in the rain with 45,000 fans in Shenzhen
I saw a clip of that concert. I guess he's not a diva, as he was willing to get soaked to please the audience. He's really committed. Happy for his success.
The judges did not know the singer is Zhou Shen, as all singers in this contest have to disguise who they are at this program. One judge praised Zhou Shen … will be a superstar in 5 years
