This song was composed to celebrate the establishment of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, a milestone in the course of China's opening to the world. It was premiered by a celebrated baritone, Mr. CY Liao, head of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. I saw a video where he speaks via video chat with Laoshi 高晓松(Gao Xiao Song) who wrote Ring the Doorbell and Answer it Myself. Zhou Shen was getting his reaction to his new demo video of him singing that song, and Laoshi Gao gave him permission.
