Watch this video to learn about the structure, synthesis, properties and application of fullerene. Department: Common Subject: Engineering Physics Year: 1
Hi, Fullerenes have also found use in the emerging research field of organic photovoltaics (OPVs). Significant advancements have been made in the devices' power conversion efficiency and the development of more stable plastic solar cell architectures. Almost all reported high-performance devices use fullerenes as electron acceptors. C60 is the vacuum-deposited OPV standard, while PCBM (Product No. 684449) is the solution-deposited OPV standard. Additional performance enhancements are typically possible with PC70BM (Product No. 684465). Fullerene band energies align moderately well with photon-absorbing/electron-donating molecules' bands, resulting in reasonably efficient exciting dissociation and charge transfer. Significant growth in this rapidly advancing technology is expected in the near future.
There is some information that isn't true like Fullerene is a good conductor of electricity & about its solubilty instead The solubility of fullerenes is generally low. Carbon disulfide dissolves 8g/L of C60, and the best solvent (1-chloronaphthalene) dissolves 53 g/L. up Still, fullerenes are the only known allotrope of carbon that can be dissolved in common solvents at room temperature
We want more videos about eng chemistry
Awesome explanation thank you for the vedio....💖💖
Unquestionable video........thank you
This is an outstanding and most complete explanation of C60 that I have seen.
Excellent explanation.....
I like animated videos to study physics. It is more helpful....👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Excellent ❤
Simply fascinating!
Thank you so much for such a good explaination with detail
Full clarity... and nice explanation 👍👌🏻
The video has fascinated me, thanks for making such an amazing project.
Please make more videos about physics and chemistry. Biology would be extra 😁
Very nicely explained .I have search a lot but not find a content like it .Thanku so much😊😊
