I really love the way the film strip outlines the word destination. It is difficult to believe you did not plan that from the very start. This make is so good, Bel. Thanks again.
I enjoyed Robert’s story. Great job. I also agree we should use the craft supplies, including, Tim Holtz things if we have them. I am 78 years old. I doubt my daughters will want to keep all my stuff. 😀
I am always thinking about how much craft stash I have and that no one in my family really want it so I definitely need to use it and make sure I create some special things with it that they may actually want 😂
I love this tag!! The story just adds to its depth and charm. You are such a genius at layering. Every time I think it is perfect, you add another little scrap, and ...boom...perfection! I have no idea how you do it, but I love every tag you have made. Thank you for sharing! 💕
Thank you so much, I really appreciate your sweet comment. I love layering and think it adds so much to a project so it has now just become part of my craft style. 😊
|Thank you, I am really glad I decided to add the flower now, it really adds a little something to the piece and balances out the colours from the top 😊
I love your story! I heard Binx’s (?) bell and looked to see where Chloe was! 😆 She is sleeping on the register. As for the Tim stuff, it is increasingly difficult to find in the US. The selection has significantly reduced, if not eliminated altogether in the craft stores I have access to. I completely agree about the cost of the Stampers Anonymous sets…. So expensive! I have 6 sets. 3 were gifts. If you watch the video I have uploading for tomorrow, I am quite chatty! I also talk a little about using the things and not buying more…..as I was wanting the Rolodex card hole punch. 😂 I am really enjoying your series. I think I have missed a couple, but I will get caught up.
Oh yes I can relate to the hoarding of Tim Holtz stuff 😅 here in Arctic Norway we now one has even heard of junk journals and definitely not Tim Holtz 😞 so I have to use internet 😛and it takes a long tiimmme and cost a fortune 😅 Lots of love from a snowy arctic Norway 🥰🌸🌺🌼
That is such a shame. It has got better over here in the UK over the past 5 years thankfully but we are still limited with items and the stamps and dies in particular are expensive. As for junk journals and even journals, outside of other crafters in this community when I tell people what I make they just look at me blankly and then often ask why I make them and are shocked to hear that I sell them 😂
Great tag and a great story to go with it. I still have a 12 by 12 and an 8 by 8 TH paper pad that I'm reluctant to use, but in his live yesterday he did say that some things were coming back this year. Let's hope the paper pads are one of those things 🙏. I got a whole load of TH stuff for Christmas but only because my daughter went to new York before Christmas and went to Micheal's. Over here, it's still difficult to find and expensive to buy. Thank you for another great video ❤ xxx
Thank you. I still have a few sheets of some of his paper pads left that I am reluctant to use, especially the 12x12. I did watch his live and I have mixed feelings about it. I filled with joy he is following his heart as that is what we should always do. I am also really interested in seeing what may be brought back. However I'm also worried about what they may discontinue as his products as my go to when creating and being here in the UK we get limited products anyway. So I may stock up on a few of my favourites 😊
I love your explanations Bel! It's so good seeing different interpretations of the prompt and the layering adds depth. 💗 PS here in Australia we don't get the sales either and shipping from the US is outrageous. 😳
Thank you so much. Postage anywhere seems to be getting more and more ridiculous! It makes both buying things and swapping happy mail so difficult which is such a shame. Years ago I used to do happy mail swaps all around the world but now I just stay with the UK. I think that outside the US that we get less reductions on Tim Holtz products because of the cost companies pay to bring it in.
I was told from a store that they don’t carry Tim holtz any more in store from a I guess a lawsuit between his partners.the only way to get then was online.not sure if true but they don’t carry them except online.
Over here in the UK there was one local shop that did carry some Tim Holtz stuff but they stopped around 4 years ago which was such a shame. I am grateful that at least one online shop here always has a really good selection now😊
Thank you. I have been trying to approach these prompts a little bit differently to what I might usually. Firstly because its a challenge for myself and secondly because I am hoping it gives some inspiration on how you can look at your own supplies differently 😊
I like how you intertwine the different colors through the tag journal you are making. It is all tying in together well. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I would so love to see photos of your crafting area
Maybe one day 😊

I agree completely, Dawn. I have learned so much about assemblage and collage from watching Bel’s videos. Pure genius.
Great story about Robert and I agree about his flower! Nice illustration of depth on the entire page.

Absolutely beautiful tag that showcases DEPTH!
I had noted to create a collage for this prompt and your video is definitely Inspiring me to do it.

You have totally influenced me to get Tim holts ephemera 😊😊
It is one of my favourite things to use and so useful for layering 😊
I’m new to your channel and junk journaling. I loved your story about Robert - great story telling! 😊
Thank you and welcome to my channel. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment 😊
Wonderful tag 🤗💕
Thank you! 😊
Love it
Thank you 😊
Sadly, Tim holtz supplies are almost disappeared from Michael’s. At least the one that is near me.
