w/o jacket you can get extension cables so you can run it off the bike battery routing the cables through whatever jacket you already have.

Thanks for this! Thinking of getting the Foton 2.0 Macnas for winter riding in Poland. This review helped a lot! 🎉

What part of the glove has the heat elements. Top bottom fingers thumb? Thanks

It's been so mild that I haven't worn them for a while. I can't recall where the elements are and a look at the Macna website doesn't help either!
All I can say is that they are really comfortable and definitely keep your hands warm. If you are winter riding I'd get a pair for sure. Cheers

How does the power supply work? Im interested to buy the gloves but how do they get the power? Where do the cables lead to?

Macna offer different styles and battery options. Because I had the jacket I bought the gloves which attach to the jacket and then the battery is in my pocket. I like this because when I'm off the bike and walking around (like at a freezing cold Christmas market) then I can unplug the gloves and just plug in the jacket to keep my core warm.
The alternative is to attach the cables direct to the battery in the motorcycle (very easy job) and then plug in the jacket. The gloves then connect to the jacket.
If you want the gloves only then I would go for the Macna ones that hold the small batteries on the back of the gloves. Otherwise you have to feed the cable from the battery up through your jacket and down your sleeves. My son did this for two winter seasons with a pair of Richi heated gloves and he was OK with it. Not sure where you are based but the guys at Motolegends near Guildford are really helpful if you need advice. Cheers

I think you can get three connected batteries into each glove. 12 v. Each glove has three compartments...

I have a battery around 3 inches by 2 inches which can power the jacket or gloves when you are not connected to the bike. It's too large to fit in the glove itself but I know you can get smaller ones that do. Cheers

I too have the Macna jacket. I have it running off the bike charging system. I have been concerned about adding too much draw as that could leave us stranded. I have a 2023 classic 350. Do you think the jacket with gloves pull too much power. Or would running gloves off the battery pack would be safer?

It's a good question Dean and I can't answer it with absolute certainty that it will be fine. All I know is that I had the jacket on max and the gloves heated up for the 15 or so miles that I rode around the Worthing /Shoreham area. I will try and get out again for a longer ride and see what happens. The alternative is to use the battery pack as you say which should provide heat from about 3 or so hours. Cheers

Whilst riding I have the gloves, tomtom and phone in charging - its np. I dont have a heated jacket running tho. '11 GS with (bigger than oem) handguard and heated grips isnt enough for me.
