Ray castoldi is now organist for the garden and has been since the 80s he's a good friend of mine and Paul Cartier too who succeeded Eddie Layton at yankees after his death in 2003 as he was hired in 2004 and the isles is his og job everything else is a successor
Yeah, I wish I could find the other games of those three series. I found Game 7 that year and the 1973 the year the Knicks one, the clincher at the Forum. I was little then and wasn't happy when the Knicks won, but a big time Clyde Frasier fan.
@@beast1960 Impressive collection you have put together, my compliments! I have a lot of old tapes of games from the late 70s and early 80s, many of which I have posted on my own channel. I have been meaning to start posting national anthems because I used to tape those as well as the games.
@@chrisdennehy9425 You had one, I believe of the Boston Bruins at the Kings. A short one with America the Beautiful. Would love to hear more. I collected a bunch when I was young, but some got erased.
@@chrisdennehy9425 Yeah, I taped games and the National Anthem (s) if they weren't in commercial. The New York Rangers used to play a recording when they played the Kings until the 80s and that frustrated me, as I liked the organ or singer with organ, and the Garden had such good organists. New York Islanders games weren't televised against the Kings until they won the Cup and Joe Duerr sounded like he was in the background as it was with a radio crowd mic. th-cam.com/video/0wAezG0woXM/w-d-xo.html
Miss that guy, Eddie Layton. The King of Sports Organists. R.I.P. Thanks for entertaining the world.
