Description -
Hello fairy tail fans and channel fans alike, and welcome to a brand new edit to fairy tail!! I've been having so much fun editing the characters of fairy tail (and I don't see that changing anytime soon) but this time I decided to switch it up and do an edit to my favorite villain on the show, the black dragon of the apocalypse: Acnologia!!
I find his character to not only be an absolute beast with how powerful he is, but he's just insanely cool. He has an interesting background for how he got to where he was at the end of the Alvarez arc, and the fact that he can switch between human and dragon is really awesome (his human form is dope af). He's also got some really awesome action sequences, definitely some of the best in the whole show, which is befitting to the main villain.
I actually got inspired to make this edit by the video I linked at the top of the description. The uploader of that video used this song by Yasuharu Takanashi and named it a "custom Acnologia theme". I thought the song fit so well I decided I had to make an amv for him. I really hope you'll enjoy this edit! More fairy tail edits will continue to come throughout the year ^^

Acnologia needs a series of his own
I would watch that immediately. Imagine a series where we fully see his rise to power, instead of just the flashbacks we got in the last few episodes, that would be such a fun watch. Due in no small part to J Michael Tatum's amazing performance as him.
Omg yes!! They really need to or at least make a movie going more into detail about his journey to slay all the dragons.
Dead Rock Manga seems to have something along those lines. Give it a go. Its from the same author as Fairy Tail
Well the new serie mashima Dead Rock the protagonist have power of dark dragon and his power image is like Acnologia dragon form

Honestly, this would be a banger if Acnologia had his own series or movie, you know, like how they’re doing in marvel with some villains like venom but he’s not a villain anymore
That would be so cool! I'd love to see a spin off ova/series that goes more in depth in to his rise to being the black dragon. Like a short season for it. We briefly saw some flashbacks in the last few episodes but it'd be so awesome to see that way more in depth
They did Acnologia dirty in the last fight...
I feel like Acnologia still has much more strength within him, in that last confrontation, remember Zeref is afraid of him.

Acnologia is one EPIC character! Natsu's always been my favorite FT character, but I think Acno is a close second along with Erza
Fr, dude is such an awesome villain. I know the majority of the community prefer Zeref cause he's a more complex antagonist, but sometimes a big baddy that can just destroy everything is equally fun.

This is a great AMV, Acnologia was one of my first crushes, hehe, I know that Acnologia is the villain that went from being the victim to be the abuser but I think given that given the backstory and what we had seen from the majority of the dragons in the show other then the dragon slayer's trainers and even then the sage dragon just wanted a weapon that the world would be a really bad place if it were not for him.
It seems Acnologia Forgot he is immune to magic and also 8n terms of brute strength he is stronger than Natsu. 😅😅

Thanks man! Yeah I used to not be into it, now I can't get enough of it. What a change eh? :P I think a part of it was a couple of the anime's that got showed to me I wasn't a fan of. Once I got older and saw some anime that I liked the idea of more-so, I started getting into it finally ^^

Some of it is from a movie but not all of it. This is from the anime Fairy Tail, it's a mixture of the seasons throughout the show (mostly the latest season) and some parts of the second fairy tail movie, as this character has a couple minute appearance after the end credits :)

I don't think so. I've never watched Yugioh personally, but google says the english VA's for Yami Yugi are *Dan Green, Greg Abbey & Chuck Powers*

I think Acnologia had the best entrance in anime but also the worst exist; a boring fight followed by a cliche backstory... he could have been so much more.
While I personally quite enjoyed the fight, I agree that it could've been more intense and his backstory was poor and could've been so much more in depth! That's why in this video I tried to add some more details to it, making it seem like that little girl was part of Acnologia's family and we saw her die. And why I made it look like the final battle was E.N.D vs Acno. I wanted to make his story appear even more interesting than it was in the show :P
The final fight of 7 Dragon Slayers vs Acnologia... did you do something in it? It's not that smooth in animation but in here it's kinda
Well, I did add a *ton* of effects and transitions in a program called "After Effects", plus my video editor, to make the fight look more intense and fast paced so that might be why :P
However, if you're specifically referring to 3:03 - 3:17, I actually didn't do that much. I just let the normal fight scene play for that bit of the video with a couple flash effects put on top of it ^^

They did Acnologia and Natsu wrong in so many levels. It was supposed to be the Dragon vs the Demon rather it was the same "nakama" juice.
Agreed. I didn't mind the fight personally, but it could've been one of the most epic fights in all of Fairy Tail (and a personal favorite fight in all of anime for me) if they made it E.N.D vs Acnologia....hence why I tried to showcase it like that in this edit :P

FR. Dude makes Acnologia sound intimidating as hell. Some of the lines he delivers make Acnologia sound like such a powerful and fearsome foe.

That's fair. I personally prefer english dub anime so that's what I edit. Plus english dub audio is rendered in surround sound on blu-ray, so it's a technical thing that allows me to remove the music and the vocals/sound effects sound cleaner. If I edited the japanese version, it'd be in stereo audio and I'd have to manually remove the show music, which is a pain in the ass and wouldn't sound as good :)

Dead by massive fire dragon punch to the face while the entire magic kingdom of Fiore combined their power to temporarily hold him in place. Easy misunderstanding to make
Understandable but his death can be looked at as better than most main villains(Madara,the villain from Soul Eater, Ect.)

It hurts my ears. Especially the girls, the get hit hardest most of the time.
To each their own. I personally love dubbed anime and the performances they give, hence why I edit it.
Honestly your comment about the girls is what I think about Japanese female anime voice actresses. They sound so high pitched and nasally it's hard to enjoy it without my ears bleeding XD.
@@TheWarleader They're usually only that high-pitched when they're screaming.
Erza Scarlet, Ryougi Shiki, Matou Sakura, and Alice (Synthesis 30) aren't very high-pitched. In fact, Ryougi has a fairly deep voice. Classic Arcueid didn't have a high pitched voice either.
But English voice actors are usually terrible. They struggle to perform the characters properly. Characters who should sound elegant AND scary tend to only be one of them or are just cringy. Take dubbed Irene... She's a very soft-spoken, elegant, and feminine but *menacing* character and the dub does not at all succeed at that. She sounds incredibly bland, she isn't overflowing with grace and evil like she should be.
Not to mention that emotional moments turn into jokes because they don't sound GENUINELY broken, insane, afraid, etc... it's easy to tell that they're just acting and don't actually feel that way.
Of course, there are exceptions such as Victor Mignogna who is incredibly talented and skilled, regardless of what you think of his alleged sins. But the overwhelming majority are horrible and I would rather higher a random pleb off the street so I can at least laugh at the comically bad job they'll do.
@@Ohimeshinso Jesus, these are some very strong emotions....of which I don't agree with at all, cause their isn't a single person in the entire fairy tail cast that sounds even remotely bland. However I perfectly respect your preference, that's why both versions of the show exist so everyone can enjoy them in their own way ^^

Shuten Douji voice lines for hers and Arcueid Brunestud scenario for hers. Subbed Ultear is gonna be harder though, unfortunately.
But that idea you have about subbed won't last much longer if you hear them.
