I definitely over shadow the light on the side of the nose, I think that's what's been missing on my display level face painting (among other things). Great session, thank you for putting this on TH-cam!
Thinning your paints is the biggest myth in miniature painting. If you are doing base coats or layering, straight out of the bottle is fine as long as you allow the layers to dry completely before applying another layer
Rar you use the zenithal shades as a GUIDE! I've been painting over and trying to see the gradient come through. I've been misunderstanding how to do this zenithal lark, thanks!

@erik_swinson that is mind blowing to read from such a good painter. That literally turns a lot of what I thought I knew on uts head
I wouldn't recommend putting brush in mouth, may be acrylic but you never know how toxic those are
