I developed my interest in history because of the way my social science teacher used to explain things back in class 9 th. While going through this video I was constantly reminiscing her classes. I found the world wars and world history to be very interesting but Indian History was always lackluster, maybe because we already knew about those events and them being repeated to us took away from the subject's fun element. but now I feel it is very important to have a detailed look at Indian history and world history as well, so these kinds of videos are always welcome.

I studied about this topic in 9th standard and seriously it got me very fascinated, it was a great mark of history which changed the world for forever. Modern Ideas like liberty ,equality and fraternity which are also basic ideas of Indian constitution, came from this big event of history

1)Many think that Church executed Galileo for questioning the bible but that wasn't the case rather the matter was much more complex. Reality is Bible doesn't say anything about Geocentricism or Heliocentricism.
The issue was not the Science Vs Bible. Actually Catholic Church of that time adopted the Aristotliean Philosophy which was against the Bible and Galileo was questioning the Church for that matter.
Galileo was not executed but house arrested for mocking pope (this pope was a mathematician too).
2)In one of his book Galileo surely had made some observations about the solar system. But he could not prove them with evidence. Later it was some other scientists who proved Galileo's observations. And the Pope's apology was for putting Galileo in house arrest for mocking Pope.
