FEMA roles like Public Affairs Specialist or External Communications Officer are ideal for you. You’d shine in sharing updates, crafting outreach campaigns, and representing FEMA to the public. Which role feels most like YOU? Let me know if you want to explore specific FEMA positions, and thanks for joining the conversation!
As a long time federal employee in Workforce Management, you did an awesome job explaining the process. It may seem daunting in the federal job search but if job seekers read the announcement throughly several times, submit a well-written resume tailored to the position, an interview will be next. Best wishes to everyone looking for the next opportunity😊.
Love that you thought to put FEMA on here, but you also want to pay attention to who can apply. For the Human Resources and lead Human resources roles, you must already be a government employee. Most of us would only be able to apply to roles that are open to the public. This is indicated by the lite blue icon with white bubble looking heads
Thank you! I left this open to everyone. There are diverse groups of job seekers in our community and I also wanted to spotlight the public opportunities I found towards the end of the video. ❤️

Hi, I really admire what you do trying to help people with these resources, it's really awesome of you. One thing to keep in mind with federal jobs is that those little icons next to the job posting tell you who can apply for those jobs. So for example lead human resource specialist and emergency management specialist can only be applied for by current employees.
You really do a very good job presenting these opportunities for people. I appreciate the time and effort you take to show what is available and then walk us through the application process. Thank you!!

I can't believe that the pay is that much they gave the people who needed their help no more than $100 for a disaster that is just horrible for the American people
I think you came to the party a little late. As you might see, this video was posted almost a month ago. Also, the jobs I shared I also mentioned there are due dates for applications. By now much of them are filled. The video explains all of this in great detail.
