I want to thank everyone for the continuous support and for enjoying this song. There was no intention of copying or making any type of financial gain off of the previous song writers such as The Journeymen, Bobby Bare, Sy Lee, and 4Season. As a songwriter and musician myself there are lyrics that comes to mind. If we don’t write them down it gets very stressful because those melodies and lyrics are always on the edge of your mind. To me is therapeutic and I’m sure the lyrics I wrote for this song will relate to many of you. Again, I appreciate all the love and support from everyone one of you. My music is my therapeutic way of releasing stress. I hope to keep making more music that relate to real life situations instead of fairytale made up stories. I'm sorry to blast you out, but your song is the same flow as the band 4 season yog muaj ib hnub. Is just a bit faster paste and a different play roll of singing. Is about the same nothing is created, just your lyrics is written by you.

This melody has been recreated multiple times since Sy Lee recreated it in the late 80s with his song Ntuj Teb Tag Hmo Tseem Nco Txog Koj.
Theres nothing wrong with another rendition. It’s a good song. The lyrics are nice and subtle.

@@voos6571 yea, I’m not gonna lie, I never liked the original English version but after watching Jurm I fell in love with the Indian version. And then Sy covered it in Hmong and the rabbit holes of Hmong covers all came after.
Not hating though, it’s a really good song. Just wasn’t a fan of the original song 😅 . I still don’t like it. Crazy how sometimes covers are better than the originals.
500 mile by the journeyman. Heard the Japanese version by kiyoshiro iwamano first before finding out it was by written by someone else, but Japanese version is the best version.
