• Bosatt: Warsawa, Polen.
• Uppväxt: Ińsko, nära staden Szczecin, Polen.
• Melodifestivalrutin: Tävlade 2018 med ”In My Cabana”, som gick till final via Andra chansen och slutade sjua. År 2016 kom hon på andra plats i den polska melodifestivalen med låten ”Cool Me Down”.
• Övrigt: Margaret kommer från Polen. Båda hennes föräldrar är lärare. 2009 bildade hon ett elektropopband med en musikproducent/basist, men bestämde sig snart för att satsa på sin solokarriär. 2012 släppte hon debutsingeln ”Thank You Very Much”. 2016 slog hon igenom i Europa med låten ”Cool Me Down”. Hon har vunnit en rad olika priser, bland annat Eska Music Awards och MTV Europe Music Awards, och har sålt polsk platina.

She said in an interview that she does not want to represent Poland anymore after seeing the huge gap between professionalism between the Swedish preselecion production and the Polish one. She said that TVP simply does not have the money to fund a performance that she would have prepared for Eurovision and that she only takes part in Melodi to promote her songs :)

Myślę, że ten wystep jest wystarczającym powodem dla którego hejterzy w końcu się zamkną i przyznają, że to ona powinna nas reprezentować. Świetnie dopracowany występ a to wszystko dlatego, że w Polsce się nie znają na muzyce. Podczas preselekcji nagłośnienie było po prostu fatalne. I jak ona mogła dobrze zaśpiewać jak nikt nie potrafił zapewnić jej warunków jakie oferuje Szwecja? Teraz podziękujmy tylko sobie i naszej własnej narodowej głupocie za to, że straciliśmy tak wspaniałą artystkę.

I don‘t understand why she didn‘t qualify. Maybe it‘s because she‘s not Swedish, but Polish. The song is very current and the staging is definitely creative. I understand however that the staging is not everybody‘s cup of tea. Margaret took a risk with this performance and it didn‘t work out in her favour, but the song is just pure Eurovision gold!
