I grew up with these guys. Seen them change, and change again. Rob is like a fine wine, he just gets better with age. He is the metal god. He looks more bad ass now than when he was younger. Aged to perfection. No one can top him. No one.
Same here, and agree. Halford, unlike other front men from 80's era, has become more polished and still sings from his heart. As I'm getting older, JP will always be my "go to" music when I need a kick in the ass to work out.
@@freethinksman4393 Personal preference. I know of no other singer that is called a god. He is the metal god, its his longevity, his endurance, he is still here with us.
100% Metal God. I've had the privilege of seeing JP many times. Saw Fight on both tours. Saw Halford on those tours. No one comes close. Rob Halford is Heavy Metal. Bruce Dickinson comes close, but remember they warmed up for the mighty Priest no disrespect I love them both. Priest, Maiden AC/DC Metallica Ozzy. If you have a chance, see them all before it's too late. I've seen them all an absolute privlivige. Sucks getting old but i love my Rocknroll. Keep on Rockn!!
Justin Harner...I bet your right. Ritchie must be feeling really great. Just as their drummer Scott Travis felt when he got a call from Priest saying they wanted him. Scott later discovered Ripper Owens, who filled in singing. Though he was good, he is not Rob Halford, but I'm sure he must have been on a cloud to find himself singing for them after being in a Judas Priest Tribute band. I felt privileged to know Scott more as an acquaintance, but spoke to him only a million times. I used to live in Virginia Beach, Va where Scott lives. I was a stagehand there and Scott would play with local bands when not busy with Priest and because of Scott, I was one of the few in the world to know ahead of time that Rob was getting back with Priest and about their reunion album.."Angel Of Retribution". Scott was preparing to go to England to put down the drum tracks to the new music..YESSSS, I was totally ecstatic when he told me all that. It took quite a while to finally get the album out because Priest wound up on world tour with OZZFEST. After they wrapped up the Ozzfest, they went back to finish up the album and its release..THEN...Went on their own WORLD TOUR for ANGEL OF RETRIBUTION!! Two friends and I had gone to catch Priest with QUEENSRYCHE opening...man o man, Queensryche dug down deep for their heaviest metal to play. AWESOME ALL AROUND!!!
How come judas priest is not in the rock n roll hall of fame !!! Judas priest represents heavy metal and represents us fans !!! Thank you Rob Halford!!!!!
This is one of those songs that has you reflexively turning up the volume (and bass if you're brave). Driving around with my high school running buddies in the early 80's, smoking a little herb, drinking beer, talking about girls, cars and listening to British Steel and Screamin' For Vengeance was pure bliss. God I miss those times, but listening to JP brings back that wonderful feeling.
Holy shit! I didn't realize this was recorded at a festival! I just bought tickets to see these guys in a brand new 5,000 seat venue in Boston! That's gonna be intense!
Still incredible after decades of domination! So very few have stood the test of time, but Priest have proved their worthiness to the metal gods and earned their place among them to become immortal gods of metal themselves!!!
Heard a comment, that the show in Germany was a blast, technology, lighting system and visual management, fit's the moment, always sticking to the thought, hard to beat this group as a band.
Judas Priest hands down is ONE Of the best Metal and Hard Rock bands ever. Richie is an excellent new guitar player... As Fans we can only hope the torch is passed from the God Fathers of Metal Please Please Please all of our favorite Metal and Hard Rock leaders please pass the torch and teach these younger players and song writers the tools of your trade .................ITS OUR ONLY HOPE Thanks JP for all the years and your excellent music God Bless

This is possibly the greatest Priest song ever and how apt.....Metal Gods!
It certainly is one of the Priest standards!
@@rhondaevans5435 We're not talking standards/staples here like breaking the law.
@@Shadowking-oz5tb I HATE Breaking the Law. It's the worst song they ever did.
@@rhondaevans5435 exactly.. So why say metal gods is a standard. Don't reply cos I think you only 'get' JP. on a superficial level.
Thank you England for giving the world Judas Priest 💥✊
Thank Birmingham for that my friend ;) a fair few top quality bands came out of Birmingham!
I love how happy Richie is playing. must be a dream come true playing for such legends
He's been with them for 6 years now time flies.

Halford sounds unreal. The real Metal God!
How the hell are Judas Priest not in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame? They were one of the true inventors of Metal and today sound better than ever!!
Boys and girls. It doesn't get any better than this.
God bless Halford. The best singer the Earth has ever seen
The Best Was Chris Cornell R.I.P.

Absolutely no doubt
also Iron and Maiden
Fantastic recording and performance by Priest. They're at the top of their game again now, in my opinion!
+Nicolas11x12TECHX: Bringing in Richie Faulkner was just like discovering the Fountain of Youth!
+Rhonda Evans Indeed!
Seriously? Possibly the worst instrumental performance of this song I've ever heard, and that includes the covers.
You're either on drugs or suicidal.
Suicidal? This isn't the Stained Class album.
Probably the best live metal singer ever.
JUDAS PRIEST..METAL GODS FOREVER!! THANK YOU ,THIS LIVE... FANTASTIC ,MAGIC!!
Unbelievable, the vocals are like when he was young!
One of the best version
Judas Priest is a badass band still to this day! LONG LIVE THE PRIEST!
Rob Halford’s voice is incredible! Great song!
Why aren’t they in the rock and roll hall of fame yet! They deserve it!
Happy now?
Richie is a worthy substitute for K.K. and reminds him of Randy Rhoads.
Fresh wind for the Metal Gods ;)
"Worthy" just doesn't seem strong enough.
KK is worthy of having such an amazing replacement
Well said!

This is magical. Unbelievable preformance. Can't wait to hear The Priest this year at Metaldays.

Amazing just amazing
Rob Halford: Best metal singer ever
God father of heavy metal
Martín Gasa Phil Anselmo
Yes
James Hetfield is really good as well, but Rob was the original.
Phil Anselmo would admit he's nowhere near as good as Halford. Only Dio comes close.
High Quality since 1977 - I'm so proud to be a part of this Heavy Metal era!!
Rob still sounds really good and I think part of it is because he's not overusing his voice....he's still doing some high screams but seems to pick his spots which is smart
The boys are fucking pounding this masterpiece
The old man can still sing too.
Musicaço! HEAVY METAL!
Judas Priest, tremendos!!!🤘🏽♥️
Гимн металлистов из 80-х, мне сейчас 49 я всё это помню, Джудасам респект и Уважухия
We've taken too much for granted
And all the time it had grown
From techno seeds we first planted
Evolved a mind of its own
Marching in the streets
Dragging iron feet
Laser beaming hearts
Ripping men apart
From off I've seen my perfection
Where we could do as we please
In secrecy this infection
Was spreading like a disease
Hiding underground
Knowing we'd be found
Fearing for our lives
Reaped by robot's scythes
Metal Gods
Metal Gods
Metal Gods
Metal Gods
Machines are taking all over
With mankind in their command
In time they'd like to discover
How they can make their demand
Better be the slaves
To their wicked ways
But meeting with our death
Engulfed in molten breath
best ever....no one can touch him
Seen them last night in mount pleasnt MI. Still kicked ass.
