Excellent lesson/tutorial on this great Dylan classic! You are an awesome teacher, because you know how to get it across, and you your video allows the learner to see exactly what you are doing. Also, thanks for offering alternative ways to play the chords. So I agree wholeheartedly with
I notice that when John Mayer plays this (Pine Creek Lodge Benefit concert for Livingston Flood Recovery 2023) he bends the string when he pushes with his pinkie. I guess it really is just a preferance, because they both sound nice.
Excellent lesson, and very well explained Chris. This song is a delight to play. Thanks for the tip about using Open D tuning plus capo on the 2nd fret instead of Open E tuning which I think can damage the guitar due to excessive tension.
Perfection. Your ability to explain is brilliant. You are a perfect instructor. Although it has been covered, I would love to see you do Going to California by Led Zeppelin, Anji by Simon & Garfunkel, Blackbird by the Beatles, Little Martha by the Allman Brothers, Deja Vu by CSN&Y and She Talks to Angels by the Black Crows. In case you haven’t seen it, Stephen Stills does an amazing tuning of EEEEBE on Suite Judy Blue Eyes, Carry On, & 4+20. I am now a product subscriber because you are the best! Did I also mention you are a great guitarist as well.
Thanks very much Gary, really pleased you like my lessons. If you search on my channel you'll see that I've already done a few of the songs you've suggested here. Cheers
Superb teacher -- very patient and clear in your teaching methods and reviewing often. Keep it up.

Open D tuning first and then Capo?
Yeah that's right. It's my mistake I wasn't totally clear in the video.
Ooooo! Nice!
Is it a standard OM-18?
How to play it without changing the tuning.????
Pls make a tutorial for 'long and winding road'
I usually avoid songs in which I have to tune the strings down, but this is too good not to learn!
You won't regret learning it
