    The Buffalo nickel was made in 1913 with an Indian's head on front, and a Buffalo on the back where "Five Cents" is printed. This tune is most often called either New Five Cents or Buffalo Nickel. A new tune to commemorate the new coin....

    Great tune, some of my fav players! I learned it as New Five Cents, from the Stuart Bros and Rayna Gellert. Thanks for the alternate source info, gotta go find Earl doing it... ;-)

      Nah. If you look at the other videos from this jam you'll see that John (Herrmann --- two rs, two ns) was in fine spirits--and he joined the session on guitar for several hours (after the filming stopped).
