In my son's school we did the first classes for your children, they are taught in Ukrainian like at home. We try to give them everything they would have gotten from you. They learn well and we keep them playing so they can have a good childhood. Perhaps you will learn one more language...because our children still have to learn Ukrainian, just like your children are learning German while playing. As an American I can't even imagine the fear that is likely rippling through the Polish people as they watch Ukraine being demolished city by city. Even after 75 yrs the memory of the destruction done to Poland during WWII can never be forgotten. I am just hoping for a miracle here and praying that peace will happen very soon. Fear? Not really. We talked about our feelings with friends just last night. Maybe, just as the Ukrainians, we automatically slide into the "protective numbness" of the war memories inbred in us. Those fancy houses and stuff around are a fleeting thing, our collective memory seems to recall. Which might be a problem when dealing with the Russians - they could see a safe living above ground as temporary, as well. But we are pissed. My great-grandfather, a Ukrainian from Kiev, fought in WWII for the Soviets, went all the way to Berlin, received two wounds and three medals for bravery and heroism, but his own commanders wanted to shoot him when he killed a Russian officer who tried to rape a German girl. But my great-grandfather miraculously managed to escape with the other prisoners to the other side of Berlin to the Americans and the French. There he was found by a girl he saved and (she is my great-grandmother and she is still alive) they went to America together. Those large caliber mortars are amongst the most deadly weapons ever invented, the rounds come from almost straight above and they are designed to put out a circular shrapnel pattern that causes extreme injuries to anyone within a large radius. For some reason most video coverage of mortar and artillery rounds striking the ground show them detonating when they strike a hard surface, however there is proximity fuse setting that goes off when they're a certain distance above the ground and this is extremely devastating to any personel in the kill zone. The thing that makes them especially deadly is that they are man portable so they can be carried in be carried in close to enemy positions and with proper spotting you can place the rounds precisely on enemy targets. You don't want to be anywhere near these rounds when they when they are targeting you, you also do not want to want to witness the after effects of these deadly weapons when they have been used on human occupied positions. When you hear horror stories of bodies being ripped into pieces that is usually the result of artillery or mortars being implemented. War is hell, it should be avoided at all costs, Putin likes war, he is demented.
You can recognize the proximity fuse when used, they look like a tube on the nose of the mortar bombs. You can also change the fins out with a secondary rocket motor that kicks in at altitude, which sounds very cool. It sounds like a little jet engine going off.

Am I the only one who thinks smart drone usage and precision mortars are the future? If you think the answer is a clear no; please clarify why.
Smarter drones should be able to determine wind speeds, which should further increase accuracy of the mortar strike.
Normally the invading army would jam all radio frequencies and overpower the drones to make them useless.
Bigger/longer range drones + heavy artillery (preferably self propelled) are even more devastating.
They're not the future because drones being employed this way isn't anything new; what's changed is the amount of publicity they've been getting.
This has been done this way for decades so I wouldn't exactly call it the future and more of just the status quo.

Using DJI drones - this is the most stupid idea I ever seen: telemetry channel could contain a lot of information include drone coordinates, remote controller coordinates (as a home point). This is a best way to reveal your location.

Those large caliber mortars are amongst the most deadly weapons ever invented, the rounds come from almost straight above and they are designed to put out a circular shrapnel pattern that causes extreme injuries to anyone within a large radius. For some reason most video coverage of mortar and artillery rounds striking the ground show them detonating when they strike a hard surface, however there is proximity fuse setting that goes off when they're a certain distance above the ground and this is extremely devastating to any personel in the kill zone. The thing that makes them especially deadly is that they are man portable so they can be carried in be carried in close to enemy positions and with proper spotting you can place the rounds precisely on enemy targets. You don't want to be anywhere near these rounds when they when they are targeting you, you also do not want to want to witness the after effects of these deadly weapons when they have been used on human occupied positions. When you hear horror stories of bodies being ripped into pieces that is usually the result of artillery or mortars being implemented. War is hell, it should be avoided at all costs, Putin likes war, he is demented.
You can recognize the proximity fuse when used, they look like a tube on the nose of the mortar bombs. You can also change the fins out with a secondary rocket motor that kicks in at altitude, which sounds very cool. It sounds like a little jet engine going off.

'Those large caliber mortars', I guess if you new the size in mm you would have said. Maybe 120mm?
@@Superknullisch The white bags are incremental propellants, used to propel the projectile to a greater disance. They are commonly used on mortars.
