God, grant us the serenity to accept the things we can not change. The courage to change the things we can. And the wisdom to know the difference. Amen.
❤ I've been battling cutting off social media. I waste so much time when I can be doing something more meaningful. I've been chained to my phone. I wanted to go back to school but I thought when will I have the time. If I give up scrolling and TV then I have plenty of time. Thank you Father Mike❤
I’m praying for you @kelkabot. Loved when Father Mike said, “when we find the thing that suffocates joy and keeps us from joy be ruthless with that thing and cut it off” You can do this with the LORD by your side! He wants you to live in freedom forever. May the LORD bless and keep you 🙏
Wow! Wow! Wow! Excellent homily, Father Mike. I never tire of listening to you and your inspiration to be a better Christian. Not easy, but can be done with God's grace.
Your homilies are really helping me. I binge them after Helene. Another storm is coming and I just need the Lord. 😢thank you for what you do Father. Just hearing your voice is comforting. Its like we’re living the great flood.
Bless you fr mike for your sermon. It made me realize that the thing i need to let go of is my habit of indulging in self-pity and replace it with an attitude of gratitude.
Excellent homily!!!! "now" me needs to think of "future" me and have courage!! I forwarded this homily to others I thought could benefit from this holy knowledge!
Thank you for including examples of the pain that may accompany the process of obtaining true freedom. I pray that we will have the ability to endure the pain.
God wanted me to hear this today! I know what I need to do. Father, you relaying God’s message to me touched my soul like it’s never been touched before. I haven’t watched one of your videos in a few weeks and I can say that I’ve been feeling paranoid and worried without God in my life. This message is from Jesus to me! I love you my Lord and Savior! ❤❤❤❤
So so amazing 🤩 at what GOD 🙏 has done ✅ in my life already as these others 🤣 want to sit and point but no I want just the LORD MY SAVIOUR. yeah his peace 🕊️ hence why I came out and showed out for the FAMILY. ALL LOVE 💕. HUMBLE RESPECT forget and forgive.... Love thy neighbor... GOD BLESS
Thank you Fr. Mike for yet another powerful homily! Your inclusion of incidents, not only experiences of others but also of yourself, add more credence and power to your homilies and inspires us. I might have said this before in my comments on your other videos but I must say it again: your vulnerability, humility and immense love for God shines through everything you say. May God continue to bless and protect you, and guide you as you continue to be a faithful representative of his Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ. ❤
Incredible! Thank you Father Mike ❤ I immediately deleted all social media from my phone. I want to eliminate all that keeps me from God and my purpose
WOW! Thank you for this message. I pray it both convicts and gives hope to all who hear it and are grappling with any disordered attachment (and we’ve all got them) keeping them from the freedom the LORD desires for them. I am sharing this homily far and wide - starting with my own family and my clients. May the LORD bless and keep you 🙏❤️
Thank you Father Mike for all the insights you gave us through your great homilies! I think I’m going to start a notebook about your quotes. Today’s is “Freedom often starts with restriction”, and from a few weeks ago “The only way out is through”. God bless you!
How many priests speak DIRECTLY at challenges in our lives? NONE! Father Mike you are the first priest I have heard iny 61 years as a Catholic to hear a priest speak directly about individual weaknesses and areas of sin. NO other priest has ever mentioned directly and given examples like you did. Thank you for addressing these issues head on! 🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️
Greatful alcoholic, yes sir! God made a defect a gift. Through the worst point in my life I was brought to a point where only God could fix me. I could either run from him or grab ahold for for everything my life and soul were worth. My best discipline comes from strength that God and my gaurdian angel give me, for that I get on my knees and thank Both every day, and ask for it again tommorow. WHEN TEMPTED IT HELPS TO RENOUNCE _______ IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST AND REPLACE IT WITH THE OPPOSITE VIRTUE AND TO HELP ANYONE ELSE SUFFERING FROM THAT TEMPTATION. Get on my knees first thing, offer God the first fruits of my day and pray for his help and guidance. Pray rosary at church daily when possible. On knees at night thanking God for removing temptation and giving me the strength to overcome it. When tempted I grab my rosary and stare at Jesus on that cross and ask for the grace of perseverance. My message to all, there is hope, through Jesus Christ, you can do it!
Amen. Lord, please let me hear your voice and to know that it is u. And help me to stand on your word and hold on to your word. PLEASE 🙏 FOR ME I NEED ALL PRAYS THANK U ALL FOR PRAYING FOR ME.
Thank you, Father Mike, for your beautiful video. I'm going to share this video with my brother's Salvador he keeps a battle that never ends for him he tries to stop. I just pray that one day he will see the glory of God. Can you please pray for him❤😊🙏
I don't know anyone who wouldn't feel his homilies personally if they really listened to them--he speaks to universal struggles, but in a way we can all relate to if we're honest.

Turning off notifications helps a lot... but deleting apps is the ultimate fix when trying to break the chains
Can you partner the phone activity with chores?
Please pray for my son who just lost his job. Please pray he finds a better job surrounded by Good and Godly people🙏
Happy Saint Michael the Archangel Day, Father Mike!
Self-discipline is the greatest form of self-love 💕
I am going to listen to this again every time I feel like drinking, because for me, alcohol looks like freedom but it's really just the opposite.
Amen

This is the second week in a row Fr. Mike has written a homily personally and specifically just for me 😌 He does that sometimes 💛
I don't know anyone who wouldn't feel his homilies personally if they really listened to them--he speaks to universal struggles, but in a way we can all relate to if we're honest.
This is such a great homily.
21:34 “everyone says discipline is so important but they never want to tell you why. I’ll tell you why discipline is so important. It is the strongest form of self love. It’s ignoring something you want right now, for something better later on. Discipline reveals the commitment you have to your dreams, especially on days you do not want to. 22:11 “imagine the future you. Future you is depending upon the present you. To keep the promises you made to yourself yesterday.”
22:26 “imagine what your life look like in 5 months.”
23:19 restriction is the first step towards freedom, but I have to decide today for the sake of tomorrow (restriction is to ‘cut it off in this moment’ so when you get to the moment of temptation, is not even an option)
Great homily
Thanks!
God bless Father Mike!
Technical People: thank you 😊: again: thank you 😊
