Imagine showing this to someone in the Reach days and telling them it was made entirely with in-game Forge

@sinisterisrandom8537 many did attack over Halo 4s fan creations which were fantastic some gamers thought the Halo 4 footage wasn't real till the game actually released... Halo Infinite had a rocky start on its graphics with that first trailer but.. by launch everything looked fantastic except for the explosions which were fixed up perfectly after patch 3 only 2 weeks after launch..
The crashed scarab is a great touch, these are all beautiful.
Fun Fact: Insolence was made specifically for a Tournament that was helped organized by many people, and was tested many times to be as balanced as possible

wish this was the default when it came to maps being released... Not to say any of the maps are unbalanced, but playing the old Halo games back in the day, the dev created maps, with months spent on refining the balance, look, and even how these maps tie in to the world of Halo. They even came with a description that gave us a glimpse into the worldbuilding they set up...
Ngl, I don't feel most of that anymore as 343 opted to player made Forge maps, rather than retain and in-house team dedicated to creating these maps for us... ya know, like game developers... lol
So it was made to be competitive? Because we need more of that in this damn game lmao.

FINALLY more BTB maps. Hopefully there is enough open space for vehicles.
These ones look really open compared to all the other btb maps. I'm really excited to play these
Insolence, Obituary, and Thunderhead are super good for vehicles. Fortitude is great for infantry combat, and Refuge (just like Headlong before it) is awesome for hog runs
@@proper7439 I agree. I just wish there was a snow map, all of them but the last one look like the same aesthetic as maps we had at launch
A lot of them are pretty tight honestly. Still no maps that are "Blood Gulch" levels of open.
Space, and also a high vehicle count, ideally as on-map spawns. H3 BTB Heavies will always be the measuring stick to me, with more vehicle seats spawned at base than you had people on your team.
I recognize that last one. Wow! It’s all covered in greenery since last we saw it in Reach and 2

Maps where the enemy doesn't appear right in front of us or drop enemies in a group, just to explode in one rocket hit
The height box on thunderhead being so high is going to be really nice

One thing I love about all the Forge maps is how creative they are in their designs. They seem to offer so much more variety and unique playstyles something that I just miss in modern Halo maps these days.
As a BTB player I’m so excited to try these out. Btb accounts for like 90% of my 3,000 matches played lol
The music is stellar please add an option to choose what songs you want playing on the Home Screen
Obituary is just Quarantine Zone and Sacred Icon and I love it.

@@AlexSummary it's usually teammates but some maps are too brutal. I have the hardest time on Behemoth and House of Reckoning, where enemies spawn only a few seconds away from your hill so it's VERY easy to get surrounded, especially if Mythic or Thunderstorm is active

Hi Halo, what about 1 or 2 original maps to firefight?, more game modes?(in firefight) because "capture the hill" all the time have his limits...
I understand that thats not his main game mode but 2 or 3 new things to that is necessary in this point.
in the other side, I like this, there are at less two remakes but I love that!!
they're going to be adding more maps to firefight in the future, they just haven't said exactly when

I used to wonder why they use so many forge made maps but I realized it shows off just how good the forge is in infinite
And it’s only getting better! I just saw an forger made smoke nade that triggers a pelican drop, that flies in and drops 5 marine AI! Amazing for any campaign mission created in forge.
Kinda wish they made the campaign areas this interesting.

Refuge as official!! One of my favorite maps and firefight maps specifically, absolutely beautiful
Awesome to see more BTB maps, especially ones that seem more open for vehicles! Crazy that these were made in Forge, they look amazing. Now if only we had a multi-seat air vehicle of some type...

BTB Firefight. Like the 'Global Battle' mode Bungie wanted to try and implement in Halo 3 but couldn't due to tech limitations.
Don't think those tech limitations are gonna be as much of an issue with today's hardware...

Fortitude, been waiting for them to add this since I saw it in the custom game browser. Finally its in! and it is an amazing btb map. SO creative, vehicles and flying is so fun on this map.

Can someone explain to me why in my memory I always thought there was a city-style map like Headlong in Halo 2 with a covenant spectre vehicle? I just looked at the wiki and saw it was only on Burial Mounds and Coagulation. Also awesome to see a remake of Headlong in Infinite. Love you Forgers.
I think you could change something in custom games setting to use the Spectre. I remember driving it on Headlong as well

Im from Australia and for the last 3 months if i play split screen multiplayer with my mate we haven't been able to load into a single BTB game. Hopefully it works for these.
