From the first time i listened to the original, that was the line that got me. Being able to get past anger, and regret, and to the point of saying "I don't hate that I need you" takes a certain amount of self realization and strength. While the rest of the lyrics are absolutely beautiful, it was that line that made me love this song.
At 3:00, Chris quietly singing "I hate that it seems you were never enough" absolutely 110% broke my heart. Just when you think this song cannot pull at your heart strings any more, when you've easily listened to it 10,000 times...💥 💥 💥 there we go and rehash all of the feels all over again. 😭😭

I couldn't help but cry to this, it reminds me of a guy I knew back when I was in highschool....he didn't die or anything, but it's just how close we were, just he got me and I got him and we were inseparable...he was the bestest friend I could have ever asked for, but someone else came into his life, and she convinced him I was trying to manipulate him into being with me, and that wasn't the truth, I wanted him happy, I didn't care if we were dating or whatever his company was enough for me. But what made him drop me like a bad habit was when she tried starting a fight with me in the girls locker room, and I told her how I felt about her and that I was going to tell him what she was doing to me, and to a friend of his who she was fooling around with while with him...and well he believed her over me....and that was the end, and I still can't trust people fully, it's been over 6 years and it still breaks my heart.

This re-edit and reinterpretation is amazing because it has more closure at the end from both their perspectives. Her pain in the relationship is also acknowledged and there is almost like a sad acceptance at the end. 10/10 absolutely love it

Just found out about this version. Chris Motionless, just what are you really? Being able to make me reliving my pure raw emotions and shoot them to 99999% of immersion. Now we are friends again, I want to get back together, she doesn’t, cause I need to get her to trust me again, and I tell her that I will gain her trust back, and I’ll do anything so we can get back together, cause she is the love of my life, and I want to spend the rest of it with her by my side. I’ll make an update on how things are going

This re-edit and reinterpretation is amazing because it has more closure at the end from both their perspectives. Her pain in the relationship is also acknowledged and there is almost like a sad acceptance at the end. 10/10 absolutely love it
