Ronnie Radke took this song and made it his own. He is so musically inclined. You can feel this song through his voice. To me that is a true artist.
Those with sadness and depression and anger knows truly how this song feels :/ it hits our hearts, our body, our mind. It hits our screams that we've been suffering inside when we sing with him. He shows us that we're not fine and sings it for us whether we can or cant with him, he bleeds for us in this song, put on a battle for us. Everywhere is crashing around us like the buildings and we're all at a stand still crying and breaking, nothing can beat this song with him singing and the old papa roach version. Both tells a different story and yet the same. My heart breaks with you but ill remain strong with you too. I thank you for singing such a difficult song and making this video. ❤

This was the song that started the love of Papa Roach’s music and now 20 years later this song hits in an entirely different way. So much raw emotion. I absolutely love both versions that are set to two separate times in my life. Thank you to both bands for making music that touch so many people.

I actually never understood the lyrics of the original as deeply and clearly as I did with this version (mostly because the focus was also more on the catchy rhythm of the guitar). This one hits hard, genuine masterpiece cover. Papa Roach should be proud.

I head this version right around the time I lost my Grandmother. The person I looked up to the most in my life.... It's amazing how a song I used to rock out to when I was younger translated in my adult years... This is an amazing song in all its various versions but due to the timing I think this one is now my favorite. Thanks for creating this something I didn't know I needed at that time.
When the original came out I was going through a hard time growing up. This year many years later it’s a tough year. Listening to this doesn’t feel sad, if anything it gives me hope.

This is such a beautiful rendition of this song. It’s an emotional rollercoaster from beginning to end.
The original Papa Roach song was so visceral and harsh and spoke to generations of people.
Ronnie has arranged this brilliantly, showing the progression of emotion into a very powerful crescendo.
The papa roach version was for us angsty teenagers trying to break from our parents, Ronnie’s version is for those same kids now adults trying to just survive.

This is magic. I was a teenager when the original was released.I am now 40 and this has me crying like a baby. It captures the emotions of the last 25 years perfectly. Any adult now that grew up in the late 80s and 90s know exactly what I'm talking about. We were feral!

@skylerwood373 you know, at first listen I also thought it was autotune, but then I put on my headphones for a more accurate sound. It's very difficult to discern but I think there are some effects on his voice. It's either that or autotune at some parts
When Ronnie Radke strips and slows down a song with his vocal talent, it's simply amazing. I never noticed how deep Jacoby's lyrics truly were considering how driving and up tempo the song was originally. Well done my friend, nothing short of another masterpiece!
Jacoby actually reacted to the version while Ronnie was stood there and he was buzzing with the outcome
One could say the depth of Jacoby's lyrics are hidden beneath the anger and rage he pours into the mic to express those more sad and deep lyrics, like in the original Last Resort, Between Angels and Insects and honestly the rest of the Infest album. Ronnie, instead, dug beneath the anger and brought the sadness up to the surface and then amplified it.
I just recently lost my mother and I can full feel this song. The OG version will always have a place in my heart but this one hit extremely close to home. "It all started when I lost my mother, no love for myself and no love for another!"
As a teenager i sang Papas version with all the anger and angst feeling so alone and breaking.... But inside my heart this is the way the song actually felt... So when i heard Ronnies version i broke down and ugly bawled. Five, six, ten times in a row.

Dude... This song hits so much harder this way as an adult. As a teenager hearing Papa Roach "Last Resort" was a rage release song. Hearing this rendition brings out the depressing reality of mental health issues and the struggle of life. Looking back at everything I have been through in my life while listening to this song brings tears to my eyes. So many times I wanted to ended it, but just couldn't bring myself to do it. Song like this are really my saving grace. Knowing I'm not alone in this messed up world we live in. Such a beautiful rendition! 10/10 you killed it!

I've listen to his song since I was a child and never really listen to the words properly, this version has just made me emotional due to how you tell the story on pain, suffering and rebuilding. Its crazy to see how music can help and remind you how valued your life really is. Thank you I really need this today GOD HOW UPLIFTING this was.
When I listen to the original that came out when I was younger, it was the anger I felt as a youth suffering and that nobody seemed to care. But as an adult, I'm tired from being angry for so long, and all I can feel is the remaining sadness and weakness, making this version straight up slap and relatable.
