When Ronnie Radke strips and slows down a song with his vocal talent, it's simply amazing. I never noticed how deep Jacoby's lyrics truly were considering how driving and up tempo the song was originally. Well done my friend, nothing short of another masterpiece!
One could say the depth of Jacoby's lyrics are hidden beneath the anger and rage he pours into the mic to express those more sad and deep lyrics, like in the original Last Resort, Between Angels and Insects and honestly the rest of the Infest album. Ronnie, instead, dug beneath the anger and brought the sadness up to the surface and then amplified it.
Yeah, another good example of this is Linkin Parks Crawling. The original version is all angry and powerful. Whilst the live acoustic version they played in 2017 is all sadness and depression. That one hits even harder considering Chester Bennington did actually commit suicide....

Never thought I'd get to hear something like this. Thank you Ronnie, Thank you Jacoby. Don't ever stop, music needs you guys.
The slower tempo, the long build ups and dramatic resolves gave this song so much more emotion and depth! This is where those deep, dark lyrics belonged.. Amazing!! So happy this genre is still alive!!
Falling in Reverse took an iconic track and turned it into something that hits even harder today. The emotion, the intensity - it’s all so raw and real. Absolutely blown away by the power in this version. Mad respect to Ronnie and the entire band for this masterpiece! 🔥
Every time I see the (Reimagined) title, we already know we about to hear a banger. Ronnie, well done my friend. You are a gift to us all. Thank you for what you do.
Got diagnosed with StageIV cancer 09/22. Lost 2/3 of my tongue, 96 lymph nodes in my neck, 6wks of chemo & radiation that lasted thru 01/23. Honestly, I’m so tired. This song truly does help. Thank you, Ronnie.
I love how this song went from teenager angst and anger into adult sadness and reality. Honestly, as a former emo-kid, this version brings me such joy. This is one of the rare cases where I like the cover more than the original!
Same. It brings all of the struggles, losses, and the senselessly spiteful hardships brought on by people who were supposed to be trustworthy to the forefront of my mind.
I'm 36 and grew up listening to Papa Roach version and always had energy and anger but Falling in Reverse had me Crying out of Happy Sadness. Thank you for the Remake.
to think papa almost didn't include it in the album because of how intense it was , thing is we were so full of anger and rage in our youth we went past those amazing lyrics , we wanted to break shit.. falling in reverse just peeled it right off and show you the true meaning of this masterpiece ...Papa Roach are will always be in my top 10 bands of my teens
This left me absolutely speechless… I’m so thankful to have this version along with the original because it’s such art! I know Ronnie is close with Papa Roach and I know he’s made them beyond proud!! Absolutely SUBLIME!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’d love to see what Jacoby and Papa Roach reflected on this rendition. Ronnie is the perfect person to remaster this song with his range of vocals and mixing style. This song reminded me of of the hardships but also gave me purpose to why I didn’t let the darkness consume me as a teenager to even in my twenties.
You know, I've had my issues with a small amount of things Ronnie has said, but there is ZERO question that the dude is omega-level talented. Hope he does enough of these that we can get an album of reimagined songs.
This was my wife’s favorite song before she passed. Ronni kills it. I’m glad she’s not in pain anymore. Rip Kayla. Fuck cancer. I miss you to the moon and back 😘
This is such a beautiful rendition of this song. It’s an emotional rollercoaster from beginning to end. The original Papa Roach song was so visceral and harsh and spoke to generations of people. Ronnie has arranged this brilliantly, showing the progression of emotion into a very powerful crescendo.
The papa roach version was for us angsty teenagers trying to break from our parents, Ronnie’s version is for those same kids now adults trying to just survive.
Man this is when childhood actually hits you in an adult’s way. So many memories incarcerated in such a beautiful way. Thank you, we needed this and we missed this.

Literally every time I hear part 2:30 and up I’m in full blown chills for how well the sounds and the lyrics hit in this version. By far one of the best songs to ever get a remastered from any artist.
The song, the video just absolutely beautiful. Thank you for remastering this already amazing song. Papa Roach delivered this song when we were angry teens and y'all delivered it as we're broken adults, trying our hardest to keep pushing forward. We all needed this version and the symbiology in the video. You're a gift to us, thank you!!

Hey, thank you for what you do. Never feel ashamed for seeking help of you ever need it. First responders often hold it all in and you know that’s never good to do. It’s best to get it all out and deal with it before it consumes you. Blessings my friend. God bless. ❤
I actually never understood the lyrics of the original as deeply and clearly as I did with this version (mostly because the focus was also more on the catchy rhythm of the guitar). This one hits hard, genuine masterpiece cover. Papa Roach should be proud.
Never thought I would get chills from this song. You, sir, have taken a great song, flipped it, and not made it better but re-created it almost as if it should've been this way from the beginning. How awesome.
Quiet frustration and solumn peace, this is a gorgeous reimagination. Everything in disarray, you know it's crumbling around you and you're desperate for someone to help you build it back, that catharsis of being heard and being able to compose yourself with someone supporting your renewed foundation. I really needed this song, didn't even know it. Thank you Sir Ronnie. You are beyond a visionary.
Note when Ronnie says "Downward spiral where do I begin" his voice drops as if going on a downward spiral too, and the camera angle changes for the first time to a low-angle shot to carry out visually what the lyrics are portraying. Masterful. This is just one of the many subtelties that you'll find after watching the video repeatedly. There's a lot here to unpack here. I feel we as humans are capable of recognizing when artists are truly giving their soul to their art, we can feel it deep in our bones. We can tell when an artist or artists (Ronnie and the video production team) have reached a point where it is undebatable they have mastered their craft. It is truly invigorating to see dedicated artists. And to have a video that captures the moment when they trascend. Very much refreshing. Thank you for that.
This was the song that started the love of Papa Roach’s music and now 20 years later this song hits in an entirely different way. So much raw emotion. I absolutely love both versions that are set to two separate times in my life. Thank you to both bands for making music that touch so many people.
He rebuilt the world, after watching it burn and destroy it completely. The world is now Falling in Reverse. Amazing how after years of listening to the same lyrics it feels so different, especially coming from someone like Ronnie. Hits so hard. A masterpiece.
@skylerwood373 you know, at first listen I also thought it was autotune, but then I put on my headphones for a more accurate sound. It's very difficult to discern but I think there are some effects on his voice. It's either that or autotune at some parts

Those with sadness and depression and anger knows truly how this song feels :/ it hits our hearts, our body, our mind. It hits our screams that we've been suffering inside when we sing with him. He shows us that we're not fine and sings it for us whether we can or cant with him, he bleeds for us in this song, put on a battle for us. Everywhere is crashing around us like the buildings and we're all at a stand still crying and breaking, nothing can beat this song with him singing and the old papa roach version. Both tells a different story and yet the same. My heart breaks with you but ill remain strong with you too. I thank you for singing such a difficult song and making this video. ❤
I listened to the original so many times and new the lyrics were dark and deep, but it was so fast paced and catchy it didn't seem to hit deep. This version is crazy deep and emotional and hits in a calculated way its a completely different song almost. Falling in Reverse is officially on my radar now. Thank you for what you did!
I agree.. I grew up with the original song but I only knew some lyrics and just never paid attention because it was such a heavy fast paced song I got caught up in that. But this version got me in my feels and blew me away
I prefer the original. This in my opinion is trying to make more out of a very simple premise. The hard hitting and fast pace gets the point across better in my opinion
Emotional delivery is everything with these types of songs. And Ronnie always delivers. The nuances and fluctuations in his voice are so carefully and perfectly executed. Really brings out the lyrics and the emotion behind them. Amazing job to the entire production team behind this entire project.
This was incredible, I lost my mom a few months before this song came out originally and it helped a lot, this isn’t a cover as much as a full reimagination that takes you from the denial stage of grief to almost acceptance, the visuals are perfect for the song as well. Well done

As an elder emo who is constantly pissed off at the current state of the world- this rendition captures that feeling of anger, sadness and hopelessness I feel on a daily basis. Well done!
Right?! I feel like Papa Roach’s version was us as angry, traumatized kids/teens, and now we have Ronnie’s cover as broken, hopeless adults. It’s such a beautiful cover!
@@jackwoodhouse5349 Why is sadness, anger and hopelessness only legitimate, if you're involved in ngos? Sure, there's plenty of good ngos that are fighting the current world problems, but everyone can fight their own battles, albeit "only" through elections. When I listen to the original that came out when I was younger, it was the anger I felt as a youth suffering and that nobody seemed to care. But as an adult, I'm tired from being angry for so long, and all I can feel is the remaining sadness and weakness, making this version straight up slap and relatable.
