► Ghost of Tsushima Story Synopsis
In the late 13th century, the Mongol empire has laid waste to entire nations along their campaign to conquer the East. Tsushima Island is all that stands between mainland Japan and a massive Mongol invasion fleet led by the ruthless and cunning general, Khotun Khan. As the island burns in the wake of the first wave of the Mongol assault, samurai warrior Jin Sakai stands as one of the last surviving members of his clan. He is resolved to do whatever it takes, at any cost, to protect his people and reclaim his home. He must set aside the traditions that have shaped him as a warrior to forge a new path, the path of the Ghost, and wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.

I'm late to the party on this, but I wanted to point out that the haiku makes perfect sense because it's written from the point of view of a tree: feel the earth below (roots), swaying freely in the wind (crown), growing ever strong (trunk). While the parts of the tree are doing seemingly-contradictory things, they're all part of the same process.

Remember to make use of the "hold" attacks of each stance (btw, you don't have to hold it until the attack goes off. Half a second holding triangle is enough to trigger it).
The stab in stone stance is almost always an insta-kill in swordsmen, and the flurry attack in water stance it's insanely good against shieldmen.

Don't worry about the choices to reflect on in the hot springs. They will eventually come up again. You can actually deliberately avoid one choice and by the end, the last two choices the game will give you will be both the same one you're not choosing.

you can still parry and do dmg in the different stances no matter the enemy type, they all just do more dmg to what they are better against.
that and it has a better stagger for guard breaking. Higher enemies require a specific stance to break their guard.
