Y10 seems to be British thing. I’ve used other rust stain removers available in the States.
So, it took you the better part of 20 minutes to complete that 3 foot section. How many days did it take to finish the rest of the vessel?
Please info. Can I use a polish right after 3M fast cut. And then end it with a wax? Or do I need to use a ultra fine cut after fast cut

Why doesnt blue cars polish cloud up like blue boats do?
Gel coat is such a horrible coating. It’ porous and susceptible to UV damage and fading.
New automotive paints that have been adapted for marine use are far superior. However, manufacturers continue to use gel coat because it’s simple and cheap.
The good news is you can seal and apply paint over the gel coal with magnificent results and longevity.
