Do you think he's Flemish and learned French? He sounded like me speaking French, and my flavor of American English is heavily influenced by the Dutch and Low German immigrants who came here, on top of English's existing linguistic ties to the Low Countries.
I love the French language. It is so beautiful. I feel almost jealous that the French people can speak French although it is quite normal to them. Haha
hahahaha I wish i knew that before when i started learning, nowadays i feel quite comfortable with their speed but i'll do it with Germain, thank you for the tip!
Very good way of interacting with the material. Hearing native French people speak and seeing the attendant subtitles helps with comprehension considerably!
I study every sentence from the subtitles. The whole series videos help me a lot. Je vous remercie beaucoup. And by the way, i speak Chinese. Whoever wants to learn Chinese , feel free to contact me .
thank you :D I've just started to learn French so I don't really understand much of your video but it is still a good experience for me. I use a pause button all the time, for every single subtitle and so I learn.
Bonjour!
Hi there. Thanks a lot for making EASY FRENCH possible. This video on interviewing people in Nice was cool because I was able to work on my listening skills which I have lost a lot of over the years and I was able to learn some new words. Furthermore , it made my decision to visit Nice next year in May a whole lot more determined. Je suis trés content avec le video. Merci beaucoup mes amis. Hasta luego. Namaskar. Alvida.
Paris is so beautiful . We have some our Montagnard tribes Central highland Vietnam lived there during the French Indochine but some of them went there very young age . I don’t think they forgot their Montagnards tribes in Vietnam.
Isn't the man saying "ici aux jardins..." instead of "ici dans les jardins" which is put in the subtitles? I wanted to know as I am trying to understand the lines and check if I am following correctly. Can someone confirm?
I learnt French for a few years now. But due to the lack of environment , I don't have the chance to use it. Really appreciate the people who produce these quality videos. I would be even more thankful if the interviewer guy do not mumble... it's really hard to catch for foreign speakers.
There was a woman who said that she was born there. The subtitles wrote "Je suis né à Nice" but I believe that it should have been "je suis née à Nice". Just a correction for people learning French
I can't understand how this guy on 3:36 says so many words at once. I don't hear "ou on a envie de se m'elanger", I hear something like "une envie de m'elanger" (and only at 0.75 speed)
Nice is not only ideal for the summer, In the winter, you can go skiing which is only 2 hours driving from Nice ;) even in April, you can enjoy skiing in the morning at Auron or Isola 2000, then back to Nice in the afternoon and enjoy sunshine on the beach ;)
I used to know how to speak french but sudenly i just forgot everything, but when i started to wach the video i stared remembering most of what i had learnt
@ 1:21 I learned only written French and what should have been "Je ne suis pas" - sounded to me just like « ʃpa » (IPA) Is this common? I would have never guessed it if not for the subtitles...
In informal french, they dont usually say 'ne' when negating just the 'pas'. Je ne suis pas - Je suis pas they're the same. If french people speak fast Je suis pas becomes 'chuipas'
What is the best way to watch these videos? I am a native English speaker and I have been studying French in school for a while. Should I listen and read the English subs, French subs, or not at all?
Hello dear Your videos are really awesome and informative. You people are doing a great job by discussing new topics everytime in a very creative and interesting manner Really helpful but I would like to point one thing that please be slow in talking as for new learners its bit difficult to catch the pronunciation as well as to read the english text as the text also disappears very fast . Thanks God bless you 😊
Sorry but the correct written translation for the older who was born in Nice (1:43) is "née" because she's a woman.
1:16 the black guy thanked the interviewer for asking his opinion. He is the only one who thanked for it. I think this guy faced racist things by the french people around. so sad 😔
je commence' a etudier le francais la semaine dernier et je pense que ces video sont tres utile. just need to practice a lot, I had to stop the video 100 times because for me they talk too fast...great video though, keep doing that PLEASE, thanks
+laura de la rosa morillas I've practised academic French for four years. I can tell you right now they are alot slower in my head than 4 years ago. You'll feel the same thing. What i suggest is listen to the WHOLE video clean then stop it in a second run for understanding. It's better to hear the full sentence structures.
It's true I'm using it all the time. It can be translated by : "that would be to know". It's something I picked from TV interviews and it can be used for "official" interviews if you want to.
00:20 someone tell me if I am wrong but the interviewer seems to pronounce "ce serait pour savoir" as "ce serait": "sesri" and "pour savoir" as "pusaor," in other words "serait" loses a syllable and a diphthong, "pour" also loses a diphthong and "savoir" loses its central consonant.
anyone else notice the little girl at 4:20 in the background distracted me. haha what did she grab??? a dead bird? trash? I can't tell, but sounded like she screamed before she came over.
The Bruxelles guy's pronunciation was a blessing
Lucas Martinez , merci !
@@patrickmenache you are famous?

but it's pretty good ;)
Muito obrigado!Merci beaucoup! Thanks a lot!Chevalier Bayard
Hi, where can I get the subtitle in pdf or word format? thanks.
I'm still waiting for the EASY part. Ils parlent trop viiiiittte!!
01:01 the lady seems to be saying "ce que vous pensiez", but subtile shows "ce que vous pensez". Which is correct?
It’s pensez
La Preuve en est? Why we are adding en before est?
Sorry but the correct written translation for the older who was born in Nice (1:43) is "née" because she's a woman.

Are these videos for beginners or intermediate levels ???
Majid Al Khunaifer I'd say intermediate.
I know in the French language there's no translation for the word enjoy. Can we make up a word for enjoy because it's so necessary.
You might know it already but the word for to enjoy is "profiter"
finally! merci!
"Ce serait pour savoir"? could anyone please explain why are the verbs used like this
It's true I'm using it all the time. It can be translated by : "that would be to know". It's something I picked from TV interviews and it can be used for "official" interviews if you want to.

Ya Guys, i really love your videos, especially the french ones. i was kinda wondering if you could come to quebec and speak to the quebecois?
00:20 someone tell me if I am wrong but the interviewer seems to pronounce "ce serait pour savoir" as "ce serait": "sesri" and "pour savoir" as "pusaor," in other words "serait" loses a syllable and a diphthong, "pour" also loses a diphthong and "savoir" loses its central consonant.
No, it's just "ce s'rait pour savoir".
Exellent video. :)
merci infiniment

I want to go there!
simple amusant sympatique
+Michele Paolo Basile Merci! ^^
i dont like how theres english subtitles
im learning french and i try to read the french but its so tempting to read the english
anyways great vid!
I totally agree.. I'd rather read the subtitles in French than in English
Don't you think the subtitle saves up a lot of time looking up the dictionary? I love the subtitles
Nahoy Iriahuzla That's why the French subtitles are way more big than the English.
