I'm looking forward to Rick's new series Breaking 60. Rick uses driving, long iron, and short game specialists, while he sits in the clubhouse drinking pints and eating pasties.
What a FANTASTIC episode! So great to see another side of Wesley, in terms of how supportive and helpful he is with Rick, really helping him get out of his own head. Oh, and no wonder why George is constantly in a crisis of confidence - Wesley is an f-ing WIZARD 👀🔥
This is the kind of thing that I like to think of as "really nice for the audience". It's brilliant. It's got a bit of everything so it appeals to all golf lovers, like me, and has moments of usefulness to all levels of golfer (even the worst, like me!). What a perfect concept and lovely collaboration.
Amazing that in order to compliment someone that some people find the need to put down others. I enjoy the Bryan Brothers and I also enjoy GoodGood. I reckon some people just have the need to be haters. Probably not happy with how their lifes have played out. 😖
That chip on 16 and 17 were so filthy. Unbelievable shot with where Wesley hit both from and the amount of green he had to work with (17 with that false front ). Also chipping it in the hole while on the green was also just nuts. Such a fantastic short game.
I love Rick's comment after bogey on 8th: "Right... We've got lots of more golf to go!" I admire the recent effort you put in towards a more positive mindset - it's a great inspiration for all golfers I think! It also makes for better content ;) Great job!
I spent a bunch of time last year working on my short game... The only place I tend to lose strokes now is off the tee when I rip driver and have no business doing that.
@@theo9436 he struggles massively with tee shots is the reason why he has struggles to stay on tour. 140 in has never been a problem for him lol. He is an absolutely unreal short game player
This was fun to watch! As a complete beginner I often feel intimidated but I have to say, the hazards on my club course don’t include screeching birds nearly as tall as I am, or freaking Alligators! Just goes to show that even experts don’t have it all their own way. Lovely to see the camaraderie between the two of them!
This format is brilliant. The pros are so much better from 125 in than the average golfer and it makes for great viewing and entertainment,More of this format please Rick.
Really loving the content from the USA. Would love to see you doing a few more scrambles, I think that'd give you the freedom to try the more technical shots round the green with a bit less pressure.
Wesley has rapidly become one of my favorite golfers to watch over the past year or so. He's such an entertainer, with his golf game and his banter. Most Pro's don't feel like they'd come out and do this kind of stuff, like you don't see DJ or Tiger or JT coming out and shooting a round with the boy's on youtube for fun. Wesley feels like a real person and I appreciate him so much for that. Can't wait to see more of him.
Well played you two. I am not used to Wesley being so amiable. Usually, he is giving George brotherly jabs. Those were crazy greens. Rick, you struck the ball well, and Wesley was Wedgely. I have followed the Byron Brothers Wesley, who takes a full backswing on all his wedge shots, whether it's 125 yards or 15. This shows how much touch, with his hands. He led the PGA tour a couple of times on shots between 50 and 125 yards, proximity to the hole. Pretty darn impressive

I’m 3:30 into the video and I already love Wesley’s personality. Excellent guest to have on the channel and I’m heading over to Bryan Bros to subscribe
This was a really fun and enjoyable video! I have watched Bryan Bros for a while and I can't get over how good Wesley's short game actually is! I thing I love most about Wes is that he's so up front and honest and will even make a joke at his own expense! Wes after his lip-in putt - "Go back and look at FedEx Cup points the last couple years, there's not much going in!" Haha!
When you read the title, I was like how because the stroke gained off the tee is huge for pros, but Rick did his job and Wesley is just a madman inside of 125 yards. Great collab and we need to see more of this. Rick, come back to the US more often for these content.
I started playing golf a year ago and was absolutely terrible, watching your videos literally every day and hitting the course non stop i shot my best game Sunday shooting a 77 on a par 72. Thank you for everything Rick!!
This goes to show that where to improve the most is the short game! Wes is absolutely a wizard when it comes to 125 yds on in especially around the greens. Bryan Bros. are one of the most premier golf channels on Utube and together with Rick's channel you have the best of Utube from both sides of the pond! Great job Rick and Wes! Blessings to you both from Richard in Cosby, east Tennessee. POSITIVE VIBRATIONS!
Wow that man is fire. I know how tough those pin placements were and he still did amazing but he seemed a bit disappointed in himself. Absolutely awesome Rick
Great production and fun idea. Thanks Rick and great playing. Really demonstrates the importance of the shots in and around the green. The Dave Pell Short Game Bible is excellent and taught me this years ago. He says a 10 handicap player w Tom Kite or other tour pro playing the short game shots will result in a scratch player result. His book helped me make it to 4 Hcp and this video reinforces the importance. He recommends a practice game called “miss em all.” He had his tour players miss all 18 greens on purpose ( 6 in bunkers, 6 in rough, 6 in closely mown areas). His players could shoot around even par in this game amazingly. We often see PGA tour event winners get up and down 22 of 26 times for the week. It is really mind boggling how good they are. Finally, I’ll never forget Zach Johnson winning the Masters without going for a par 5 in two the entire week. He got up and down for birdies with his wedge game 12 of 16 par 5’s. Takes commitment, talent, and hours of daily practice!!!
Absolutely brilliant concept. The average club golfer is well aware how important a good short game is to hit low scores, but to see it played out in this format was a brilliant illustration on how it really effects your score. The content of these videos, and you production values are a different level to anything else golf related on You Tube . Just a joy to watch .
I'm so impressed with how stable and smooth Ricks' camera guy and gear is... it's like he knows what he's doing. The "shakey cam Bryan Bros" can learn from this....
Great chip in on hole ⛳ 14 from 4 ft from the hole for Wesley. Also a great one liner from Rick on hole ⛳. 17 " I'm nervous and I'm not even hitting it". Great game to bad the last putt didn't drop. Great video Rick please keep them coming. You guys take care and have a safe and healthy new year.

This was an awesome one Rick. Just watching Wesley hit some of those chips and pitches, I felt nervous imagining the weight of expectation on his shoulders . Incredible skill, and content.
I remember seeing Wes practicing at Firestone and I was like WHOA who is that, his swing is money!? Later I find out he and George did videos. Love watching the Bryan bros dog each other on the course. They give "banter" a new definition.

Great vid, wasn't expecting to see Wes as the pro. Freaky short game, if only he could get his swing back or at least hold it together for 4 days. For sure a talent that should have had more wins and still can
