Just bought your top pick for $199.99 on a 33% sale 🥳 👏🏼 thank you for this video. Your recommendation matched my other research, great confirmation. Much appreciated!
Just wanted to know if u could recommend the best laser printers for crafter as well? That’s would be extremely helpful to me right now. Im also in the market to spend more upfront if it saves on ink. Thanks for sharing your content and knowledge with us 😊!!!
Hi Brandon, Thank you for the video on the craft printers. My requirements are A3= size paper, heavy cardstock 300gsm+, good quality images, inkjet, low cost ink. I am making postcards, calendars, childrens books, flyers, brochures, photos, etc. From this video, my options will be Canon TS9521C or Canon IP8720. Please can you help. I need to know how many pages can I print with these printers. And also, which ink is best for crafters/what I do - dye or pigment. There is just too much to consider when trying to buy a printer. Please help. Mari Viljoen
The main question for me is what WEIGHT paper can these printers handle? The first one shows lightweight scrapbook paper. I need a printer that can take heavy 110lb or more cardstock without jamming. Thanks.
Hello Brandon, I have been looking for a craft printer that is an all in one... That will do 12 x 12 or 13 x 19, scanner freeder, cardstock, wireless, duplex, photo the big thing tank ink... Is this something you can help me with.... Please and thank you
Hi, I was so excited to see you did a video geared towards crafters. I'm in the market for a printer for this category atm. This a great review for scrapbookers who need the 12x12 size along with photo printing but I'd love to see some recommendations for crafters who are doing 8.5x11 paper size, downloaded printables from etsy, and aren't looking to print photos. I"m wondering how the epson eco tanks would work for this?? The printables usually have quite a few pages and eat the ink for cartaridge type printers... way too expensive in ink costs. So wondering if you'd have recommendations for tank style printers that would work well. thanks fo much and enjoy your channel :)
Hello! Thank you for this video. I was wondering if you had an updated video for crafting in mind. I know that the Ecotank printers have much cheaper ink. I'm looking for a printer that can do printable digitals 8.5X11 preferably boarderless (not necessarily 12X12 or photographs). I really appreciate your videos. Thank you!
Thanks, Brandon. I looked at the Canon craft printer. It has been out of stock for months. I hesitate because it is not a tank printer. I am willing to spend up to $300 to get everything. The Canon 9521C printer used to sell for $199. I am also worried about ink costs. The Epson 7750 looks good but is out of my price range. Thanks so much for your video.
I make card games and business cards for my small business how ever I need to save time and money by cutting back on materials and productions is there a printer out there that can print on card stock as small as 3 X 5 or as big as 12X13 and has more color options and works with various computers. I need to print on precut blank playing cards to photo paper to card stock to plain printer paper! Any information would be greatly appreciated thank you for your help!!!
@@BestPrinters ooh that would be wonderful! many crafters ,including me, are looking for a ink tank printer that is able to handle heavy cardstock. i have a epson ET-2751 now but it doesnt take cardstock or heavy paper. printing photos sucks, they come out damaged with deep imprinted stripes like scratches. hopefully you will be able to find some reasonably priced good ones. im looking forward to your video :) keep up the good work, i love your videos
Shopping for a new printer brought me here. That being said I have a Pixima iP8720 featured in this video. I love my Pixima which would be good for poster printing, but I'm finding I do not like the fuzzy bleed feel of the prints I'm attempting for use with scrap booking and junk journals and that's scanned images up to 1200 dpi. Ink is very affordable especially if you go with an after market company. I can print on a number of different paper types and choose monotone or color. It also accommodates a multitude of paper sizes. It isn't fast on printing, but adequate. I honestly love this printer except the blurred feel of my scrap booking stuff. This might just be a personal issue as I've never purchased scrap packs from other noncommercial artists so I'm unsure what quality is 'good'. Additionally I scan mostly antique lithograph prints and once you get use to the quality of that printing process you'll never be satisfied with modern prints...period. I'm a litho snob and that's probably my satisfaction undoing. I'm finding a lot of scrap print artists deal with laser printed packs and I'm unsure why. What is the advantage of this process?
Hi, since you're a subscriber and you asked so nicely. my next opening window to put out a video like this would probably be in the summer. So stay tuned.
@@BestPrinters Thank you so much! I am a crafter, and although i have found the best printers regarding the ink usage, when is about the cardstock is really very hard to find an objective advice - if i read 5 articles, i have 5 different ideas. For junk journaling people the printing is the most problematic aspect of our craft, we are confused every time 🤭😀
The more money that we spend on the Printer, the less money that we will end up paying for ink and the less money that we pay for the Printer, the more money that we will pay for the ink.
The problem is the ink refills seem to be liquid gold, you can;t afford the ink, and the printers don;t always except you refilling them yourself, its a scam...

Absolutely, glad this helped!
Thank you. Can these printers print on sublimation paper?
Yes but only when sublimation ink is installed

You're going to have to get a printer that is more in the $800-1,000 range, then.
Hi Vrandon. Thanks for the info, but I realize they are all inkjet printers, do you have any recommendations for Laser printers?
Hi, let me look into it and get back to you.

Hi did you ever find the right printer? I'm also in the same boat.
What is the best ink replacement cartiage for the cannon IP8720 printer? The original inks are very expensive.
I found these for you, amzn.to/3yGKCR6
@@BestPrinters thank you.
Can these printers be used as DTF for printing on garments?
SO you can print on sublimation garment paper and do the transfer yes.
Is there any difference in the quality of the Canon ts5330 and the ts 5340

The Epson Eco Tank 3850 & 4850 would be a great option for your printing needs.
can you do the same topic printer recommendations in 2022?
Thanks for the suggestion, I might just do a video in the next month or so.

I’m also interested in the performance of the Epson EcoTank for crafting. Any input on this printer?
I know it fits into the crafting category, but does anyone know if these printers would also be efficient for printing stickers?

Thanks - we needed this

Yes but ink is a recurring cost so over time it will be much more costly than the expensive printer.

Try remanufactured ink
Certain manufacturers, like Epson, will disable the printers if you use 3rd party cartridges and/or ink. That;s why I got rid of my Epson.
Canon TS9521C Crafting Printer is no longer being made
Wow
Actually, its on Amazon right now. I just looked at it.
Good video. Please turn down or better-eliminate the background music. Thanks.
The conclusion of this video is….. You are cute. Im sorry, but you are. 😐✌️
