I have this printer and love it. It was advertised as the crafter's/scrapbooking printer. I love being able to print 12 x 12 paper when I want. Or print a digital layout. Love the larger photo sizes it can print. Just an amazing printer and I love it.
You have no idea how long I've been looking for a new printer. I just got a new PC on Dell and they have this exact printer. So between Rakuten and my Dell rewards I'm gonna save around $100! Well just under a $100 but I'm gonna round up when my husband asks where I got a new printer. lol Thank you so much for sharing this! Honestly, this is truly one of the best channels on YT!
@@Designz_by_dd Unfortunately, you need two different printers; one for inkjet, which the Canon in the video is designed for, and a completely separate sublimation printer (or some folks convert Epson Eco Tank printers into sublimation printers by loading them with sublimation inks instead of inkjet.). Sublimation doesn't work with inkjet inks; requires a special type of ink.
Hi! How are the color quality options coming from a mac? I just purchased the Canon G6020, and it is so faded and dull, and I have no options to change the color quality from my mac! Thank you!
Unfortunately, you need two different printers; one for inkjet, which the Canon is designed for, and a completely separate printer for sublimation because you can't sublimate using inkjet inks. Some folks buy printers intended specifically for sublimation and those types of inks, i.e. Sawgrass brand. Or many people opt to convert an Epson Eco Tank printer into a sublimation printer by NOT filling it with inkjet inks and instead, filling it with sublimation inks. A search here on TH-cam will pull up a bunch of tutorials that show how they do this. It's a less expensive option than buying the Sawgrass--altho now Epson does make a printer geared specifically for sublimation. HTH!
