- I'm happy it's done, but also i now hate Tally Hall
Rules:
-It has to say the title word by word.
Example: Hidden in the Sand says "in the sand", but not "hidden in the sand", so even if the original video that inspired this one counted it, i'm not counting it in my version.
Plurals also don't count (the only exception to this rule is "&" , and the only reason is because i wanted to add as many &s as i could).
-This is in chronological order, but there are some albums/tracks that don't have an specific date, so it may not be that acurate.
-Demos of songs can be used, but they'll need to have an oficially recorded version. Stems won't be included.
-Live versions won't be used unless that's the only recording of the song.
-If the song is a cover, it needs to be an oficially recorded version.
-The song must feature at least 1 Tally Hall member singing vocals, so songs where a member just played an instrument and didn't sing even if they wrote said song won't be in the video
(if the album is owned by them, however, it will be featured, like Labyrinth).
-Yeah that's kinda it :)
Side notes:
-There's some songs i didn't include for various reasons, like:
-Cojum Dip's discography (basically because none of the songs included the song titles in the lyrics, the closest thing was 134340 Pluto, but that song didn't include the numbers)
-The Robbie Cook Band(a band from Ann Arbour that realesed a EP that featured 4 of the 5 Tally Hall members)'s "Brooklyn Can Wait", because of the same reason as Cojun Dip.
-Songs from The Ghost and Molly McGee (while i'm pretty sure Rob wrote most songs in the show, i don't think he sang in any of those).
-Party Boobytrap and the WTTH EP were not included because Complete Demos is pretty much a combination of these two (+ Banana Man).
-There's a part in London Town where it sounds like the title, but i think it sounds more like he's saying "London Twang" than London Town.
-The fun fact that says "Disney please don't sue me" is both a joke and actually serious, i really hope this video doesn't get copiright claimed. I'm not that nervious about most of the other
stuff since a lot of people have reuploaded Tally Hall's discography with no problems besides getting ads, but Disney it's a completely different beast. I also put a lot of jokes in that part of
the video and i wouldn't want to redo the whole video and remove those.
-"The Start of our City" wasn´t included because i can barely hear anything in the only existing recording of the song.
I got most of the stuff from this video from tallyall.club, and while that is a great site and it was extremely convenient, what i did was basically piracy, and i would have buyed them but i don't have a credit card so i couldn't. So i'll now have to ask ALL OF YOU to go support Tally Hall and its members!

If my english sounds weird it's because i'm not a native english speaker (i'm chilean), and while, compared to other people in my country, my english is above average, "above average" doesn't mean "good".

Anyway, I had this same idea of doing every Tally Hall song + related projects for a while, so I was bummed that I couldn’t be first to do this idea.
But then I saw that you not only did the really obscure songs but also the DEMOS TOO, which is something I would not want to do. So mad respect! This is really well made and amazing, you have such high patience to do this!

That was the original idea, but since there wasn't that much difference between the two versions (or at least on the way they said the song titles), i only included the 2008 version.

I don't remember how much it took to make, but i think it was at least 12 hours (not straight, obviously). I also got the thumbnail's image from TallyAll (an archive with lots of cool and obscure Tally Hall media) and i though it looked funny and it was fitting for the video.

These people are geniuses.
The reason why it happened is kinda funny actually:
So basically Joe Hawley (the red tie) made a solo album in 2016 called "Joe Hawley Joe Hawley", and one of its main features was the quantity of samples used, and while he didn't seem to be getting in trouble with this if he kept track of every sample used, he soon realized that he wasn't actually allowed to use all of those samples, but it was too late to change it so he uploaded it to Bandcamp as it was, with the exception of We Are In Space and White Rabbit, since those apparently were the ones with the most legal issues. However, some short time later this release of the album would be taken down from the platform because of the samples.
Joe would upload some music videos of the songs featured in JHJH, but there wasn't any updates regarding the album itself. Until 2019, where Joe had the brilliant idea of "They can't sue my album if the samples are playing in reverse" (and reversing stuff in his songs is Joe's shtick anyways), so he decided to upload the album as "γɘlwɒH ɘoႱ γɘlwɒH ɘoႱ", with every song playing backwards with the exception of Aristotle's Denial, since that seems to be the only song that doesn't use any samples.
That was the only way to listen to the album oficially until 2020, when Joe finally uploaded the unreversed album to streaming services, with the exception of Aristotle's Denial, which was backwards, since the γɘlwɒH ɘoႱ γɘlwɒH ɘoႱ version was already unreversed.
I love how joe hawley attacks is just the entire song.

There's nothing wrong with the Disney stuff, tbh. I'm almost 20, but I'd happily listen to that stuff. It's like the kid's albums They Might Be Giants did. Yes, they're for kids, but they're still pretty good.
I agree with this, i just wrote stuff like "Rob why" because that's when i just started editing it, after that it definitely grew on me.
(also i'm a TMBG fan and i find funny that the way i first heard their music was very similar as how i first listened to Tally Hall (TMBG composed music for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Tally Hall made music for happy Monster Band, and they both aired on Playhouse Disney at a similar time)

Jesus Christ this is incredible- this must have taken forever to edit. I consider myself a pretty big fan of theirs but there's still so much here that I didn't even know existed
The thing about being a Tally Hall fan is that everytime you think you know everything about them, you find something you've never seen before, and it will probably keep happening since the fanbase keeps finding old stuff that was originally though to be lost fairly frequently now.
@@allballs9944 Yeah sounds about right. Three separate times I found an an artist that I really liked, only to search up the artist on Google and for it to be revealed to me that they're related to/part of Tally Hall (those 3 times being Miracle Musical, Rob Cantor, and then Cojum Dip) before I just decided to actually read into them and fall down the Tally Hall rabbit hole

I was today years old when I realized that Tally Hall were the people behind the songs in the Happy Monster Band. This band has metaphorically been with me since childhood

@@N95j Quite embarrassing to admit but when the chorus of banana man hot I had to do a double take because I was transported back in time to when I was little and was watching a fursuit dancer in some yellow balloon bouncing on stage and chucking bananas at the audience to that song. I used to quote it when I was little and the song would occasionally remind me of that video when I'd hear it occasionally. To realise it was this bloody band that's been following me through trends and stuff was also behind that sent me for a loop.

Now that you say it, i think it would have make much more sense if i mencioned that instead of the Isle Unto Thyself video, since the ROE video has way more views and the song got more popular because of memes, and the IUT video has both comments and likes disabled, making it harder to find. I guess i forgot he did the ROE video and i saw an alternative version of the Isle Unto Thyself MV on his channel.
