  • This tutorial video explains the PWCC Auction seller commission sharing ratios as of June 9, 2024. I give specific examples of sold prices and how much of those sales each seller receives including examples of my own cards I've sold.
    Cajun cardboard is a TH-cam channel featuring basketball card collecting and investing, fantasy basketball content and general historical and modern NBA Basketball content.

    All of the slabbed cards I personally own that you see in these videos are in my PWCC Vault in Tigard, Oregon. I choose to store these cards in my PWCC Vault to lower costs, insure them, protect them and eliminate the concern of damage resulting from fire, flood, humidity, theft or Cajun Alligator attacks down here in Louisiana. I do not hold any of my Graded Cards in my personal possession or in my home.
    Thanks for watching the channel and consider subscribing and clicking those links to support the channel!

    You’ve made a compelling case for selling on PWCC, counselor. Always appreciate these types of episodes and your willingness to advocate on behalf of your viewers when warranted.

    Good video mate. I actually didn’t know any of this. It makes sense to me, anything over $500 to PWCC.

    Gotta b honest, u didn't sell me cajun, maybe if i sold huge $50,000 cards....but theres alot more eyes on ebay and for $50-$1000 cards its basically the same return, i mean u still gotta ship the cards there 2 sell em so whats the difference? Love the channel. Keep it up, tell em 2 drop to 10% on all cards and theyd take over immediately

      You don’t think there’s a difference between putting 100 cards into a box and shipping it once to PWCC versus creating 100 listings taking 500 pictures, packaging 100 cards and shipping 100 cards and putting 100 shipping labels on the packages?

    Their fees are still too high in comparison versus EBay with an EBay store. 12.35% on eBay for the first $2500 and then 2.5% for anything above $2500. PWCC could make waves if they started reducing their fees which I think they will do eventually once there is more competition. The market needs lower fees. Way too expensive right now with buyer premiums, sales tax(if you don’t keep with them), shipping. Ultimately a buyer premium is money out of the seller’s pocket. I promise the auction space will look drastically different in 10 years.

      Will look different in 2 years I’d think. There’s a price to pay using an AH over eBay for sure. It’s not for everybody. 👍

      @@cajuncardboard oh I agree that PWCC should get some premium being that they are vaulting/insuring cards. I have used PWCC a lot in the past for sales and still have cards vaulted with them. However until they get their fees down, I personally will not probably sell with them anytime soon. But I do think like you mention, that in the years to come, their fees will most certainly trend lower. They will ultimately have to as I believe more competition is coming. Of course eBay controls a lot of this and if they reduce fees at some point, that will really put pressure on PWCC, Goldin, etc…

    For cards valued at more than $5000, Selling through eBay via PSA vault, the commission is 7%. Hence for your Magic Johnson card, you get 93% of the sale price which is > PWCC.

      @cajuncardboard  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      But then I’d have to use the psa vault. 😂😂😂

      @@cajuncardboardPWCC fees are better than eBay-PSA Vault when hammer price is > $250000 which worked out to be 6.25% fees.
      Maybe you can do a video on fee comparison for different price range. Selling through eBay-PSA vault vs PWCC
