I live in Tulsa too. It isn't pretty nor is it peaceful. Nothing but kids trying to play gangster and killing each other. It's getting worse and worse by day. Tulsa offers free housing so the city attracts all types of fuckery
Although the oral presentation was nice, the videos do not represent what the narrator is speaking of. This could have been a truly great video for future prospective visitors and inquiring future residents. Nothing great was shown of the great Art Deco structures around the city or of the great underground tunnels, nor the interesting history of the mafia and bootleggers of the day. The oil capital was not mentioned neither was the great train yards that supply the nation with necessities. The videos of the different districts could have included much better shots to entice others to get out and enjoy the amenities. I’m sorry you didn’t make this video a much greater showing of all Tulsa has to offer.
Wouldn't be surprised if it's an AI voicetrack, too. The video was pretty low effort and seems to be a throwaway production of a travel channel just trying to churn out content. As someone born and raised in Tulsa, anybody talked about the "scenic" and "stunning" views of the Arkansas River sure hasn't been here for themselves!
Actually, The Gathering Place has been named The Best New Attraction of 2019 by USA Today, and made Time's 100 Greatest places of 2019. It was named the best city park in the nation in 2021 AND 2024 in a USA Today reader's choice contest. Drop by some time....
