First and foremost: I love your travel vlogs! Not only do I get to live vicariously and rekindle my memories of the New York theatre scene, but I honestly just love watching you and Aaron James interact! Your relationship is so warm and genuine. It gives me hope. Thank you for sharing so freely of yourselves!

FYI Winnie the pooh plushies are in the old NY public library building IN Bryant Park, and the entrance is on 5th Ave and 41st St, next to the two giant stone lions. The building you went to at 40th st is the functional library (as in where the books are actually located now, while the old building is more for tourists and offices afaik, most of the normal books are not there anymore). It takes about 15 min max to walk in, look at the plushies and get back out, so should be easy detour next time you guys visit.
Nice vlog as usual. I saw all the shows you mentioned except English, so will try harder to do the rush tickets now and catch it before it closes. Hope you guys enjoyed the cruise and the well deserved holiday.

i remember feeling like i was always the one fading into the background while others stood out effortlessly. it was frustrating and made me doubt myself a lot. then i came across this book, Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and it showed me things i’d never even considered. it’s not just a self-help book; it’s like a guide to understanding your own energy and using it to connect with people. if you’ve ever felt like you’re not seen, this book might change everything.

Mickey next time you go to NYC you have to see a museum! I'd recommend Natural History because theres more diversity there but The Met is The Met so you cant go wrong. Also I think you went to the wrong NYPL, the flagship one has the giant stairs and 2 lions out front. Would recommend checking it out. A day trip down museum mile is always so fulfilling. I promise our city and our theater is more than midtown!

I love living vicariously through your vlogs. We are going on our first trip to NYC at the end of the month from the other side of the US. My friend who used to live in NY thinks we're out of our minds for going during that time because it'll be cold. I honestly feel so much better after watching this vlog and think we'll be just fine. We have four shows on the itinerary and I'm so excited!

Spoiler Alerts for some of the shows featured in this video... you've been warned!
How HILARIOUS is the scene in Eureka Day of the virtual town hall?! I have no idea what words were even said on stage, as I was too focused on reading the group chat, but damn that was some of the funniest writing I've seen in a play in a LONG time.
I read an anecdote about an older patron who asked a question at a Q&A who asked the creative team what the translation of the last scene was, the one performed fully in Farsi, and the creatives refused to answer and said something along the lines of "how did it make you feel to not understand?" and it immediately added a whole new level of depth to an already brilliant piece of writing.
As always, a great vlog, I love seeing ya'll in my city and I always hope I'll see you around/at shows, so far I think my "randomly seeing ya'll" counter is at 2

The Central Park Zoo is pretty small & unimpressive. If you like zoos (I really do; they're great places to go w. a date to), you should check out The Bronx Zoo next time you're in town. But go in Summer, as most of the exhibits are outdoors.
That was an outpost of the NYPL; the main, much larger library building is 2 bl. further north on 5th & 42nd, w. the iconic stone lions at the entrance.

As I live in Chicago, NYC travel doesn't actually induce jet lag.
    Travel to London does, though.
What West End productions pair well with jet lag? And maybe a themed cocktail.....
BTW --- I still don't get the Death Becomes Her love.

The park is so pretty in the snow. Thanks for showing us that. The Delacorte is where Andrew Garfield plays the piano in the Tick, tick… Boom! movie.
I was in NYC when you were. I was at the same English and Kowalski performances you attended. Disappointed I didn’t bump into you and Aeron. I also saw Eureka Day on my trip but not when you did. I really enjoyed English and Eureka Day. Everyone was cracking up at Eureka Day performance.
Plush Pooh and pals are at the main Public Library building on 5th Avenue between 40th and 42nd. It’s the building with the lions (named Patience and Fortitude). They are in the exhibition space on the ground floor. Possible other Broadway artifacts in the exhibition too. They swap things out, so it depends. The Pooh plush are in the basement when they are not in the exhibition. Whole building is worth exploring, it’s really stunning. The building on 40th and 5th Avenue has a rooftop you can get a view from, but it’s a working library. The building with the lions is a reading room library.
Completely agree with your Tony take for Gypsy/Sunset.
Very happy with MTC productions, both their Broadway and off Broadway productions. No comments on Eureka Day?
Hope you had or are having a good vacation.
