...finally I did the maiden flight on a calm and sunny springmorning in Lüsen (Südtirol) and it was amazing. 🤩In nearly no wind conditions the canopee was so easy to bring up, Jesus! In thermal conditions I felt at once pretty comfortable, but honestly, I have only little thermal experience. Cought a strong, impressive side collapse with it, but thanks fresh education and training, I was able to react correctly. The canopee reinflates promptly and nicely without overshooting. Once more I was happy to invest in a solid education, training and in a suitable A-category glider.🙏

0:39min it looks like this thing stalls without warning. you pulling brakes down down down and baaam! glider suddenly folds in. i guess its high performance flying on the limit with that? looks cool for sure. i wish we have a place like that. green grass hill and open are for training...

Hehe 😏 I can see how it might look like that in the video, because of what I am doing, but actually the PI 3 is relatively very forgiving, giving plenty of warning and very clear indication of impending stall. I was purposefully trying to make the wing stall quickly here, with a full wrap on the brakes, mushing the wing a little so it didn't gain full speed, and forcing the brake down quite hard whilst the wing already had a high angle of attack and was slightly behind me.
