    Inside it looks like a prototype. Now it just has just to be done suitable for instant use. Simplicity is the result of perfection.

    those supportpillars should have rounded corners, to prevent wearing bottom of the "pocket" and making installing easier.. 2:47 / 3:28

      @@flybubblecarlo Sure: When you are out flying, and for some reason your glider does something surprising and unusual, like collapsing on one side... which of course is followed by a forward dive and turn... : if you were in your "normal" sitting-harness, it would allow you to turn with the glider as it tried to recover. In this "submarine-harness" aerodynamic forces would prevent you from turning with your glider. And the spiralling glider would quickly spin faster than you, and creating twists on the lines coming down to both risers.
      Which would result in a situation where linetwists prevented you from controlling your glider, and tossing your reserve (if you have one with you) is your only option.
      Linetwists are the WORST situation a paraglider can encounter. Besides falling into your glider.
      So flying harnesses that are THAT resistive to turning in the yaw-axis, should only be done by pilots that are very aware of that fact.

    Larks head superiority! A mentor showered me at the Monarca this year and it blew my mind. Especially if you have a thick speed bar line, you can do micro adjustments in flight if necessary and you never have to worry about the brummels getting loose over time

    Maybe there should be a rule for max kit volume and reasonable setup time to make sure the sport remains accessible?

      ps. I generally prefer lightweight and compact gear that is easy to set up and intuitive to fly. While full-fairing harnesses offer a performance advantage, they may not be suitable for everyone due to other factors like cost. People prioritize different aspects such as performance, safety, or durability when choosing their gear.

    People are now reporting lines getting stuck in the long ass tail of the Ozone submarine. Not surprising, but who would have thought? This Gin harness is also a snag hazard.

    Brumel hooks😂😂😂 all ya need is flybubble covers!!! I've had mine for five years!! Not bright blue anymore.. the logo has worn off..... but they still work!!! 👍👍👍

      @@flybubblecarlo a lot of things….the Material, easier to find the correct sit,the zipper, the cockpit, the rescue under the seat,the long tail is stable,the color,the packing volume,the bigger back pocket….you see a lot😀

      We tried with more cuts to narrow it down but the cuts felt forced/awkward and it lost context so in the end we kept it longer and included all the details and little bits Phil talks about, as it really feels like a one-on-one conversation with a great "walkthrough" of the harness and the whole process. ✅ Also, we've already spent a few days and many hours to produce this video and editing it down further will take even more time - and no one is paying Flybubble to make these videos, they are all funded by Flybubble (and our budget is very limited). 💸

      We've had a bit more spare time (it might not be obvious, this whole process takes A LOT of time) so now added time stamps ( see the video description) to make it easier to jump to specific sections. However, I do feel there's a lot of great and valuable info in there, all given freely! 🤓🤓ℹℹ😀😀

Just your reviews used to be shorter in general and just expressing a personal preference for that format in future :) although I imagine that some people prefer the long form content which must be even more time consuming to film and edit!

    Pods can be too complicated for there own good not keen on all that faffing about and trying to gwt out of it is rather worrying..especially if u land in water

      @@flybubblecarlo The harness might create say 10 or 20% less drag (maybe even more of a difference) than a normal pod harness at a given airspeed. This difference will no doubt increase at high air speed, where parasitic drag becomes our biggest concern and these harnesses shine. The harness doesn't give you "an extra point of glide" linearly throughout the entire speed range, nor in head or tail wind situations specifically. It's often been quite a nice analogy to say a harness, or wing "gives an extra point of glide", when we're discussing trim speed performance of a wing that perhaps glides at around 10:1, then we can roughly say a point of glide is a 10% change in glide ratio, but suggesting that the harness gives you half the glide range again when into a 30kph headwind (i.e it can turn a 2:1 into a 3:1) is probably a little disingenuous. It might be 20% better at full speed, but that will just turn a 2:1 into a 2.4:1. Hopefully that helps.

    Straping into that thing in blue skies and 42 degress sun burning on you, will make you done already before you even have started.
    Bedsides that this thing cost a fortune, is heavy like concrete blocks and takes forever to get into. Completely unpractical and increases all possible risks made by pilot.
    But at least the "smelling like a 🐖" sensation due lack of heat exchange comes for free.
    What a nonsense.

    It's impossible to be competitive in the CCC class without being rich.
    An Enzo costs like 5k and these new harnesses cost 3k ... Like wtf. I got into paragliding because it was the cheapest way to fly ... Now if I wanna compete in the big competitions I need at least 10k in equipment every 2 years. Impossible for my sorry ass ... I'm staying in the C 2 liners for a while. It seem allot of people agree cuz the sports class competitions are getting bigger every year.

      You can sell your 2 year old wing quite a lot of money and you can keep your harness much longer. So its maybe 3 or 4k every 2 years.

      The value decrease on comp equipment is insane. Got a used X-Rated 7 for 600€ and a Peak 6 with 60h for 2400€. For sure not the most competitive setup and I got my ass beaten at the German Open but at mid level comps I can keep up quite well, here my own mistakes are what limits me the most. Also I'm just 53kg, so flying an big Enzo or X-One isn't really a possibility anyway. (Also look at used X-Ones, I have seen one with 50h for 1200€)

      I think some who think this kind of no-compromise gear is the pinnacle of design are surprised at how much others, like you, disagree. 😏 To be honest, this kind of harness is not my thing either (being a simple fellow, getting a bit older now, I prefer simplicity) however there's no getting away from the fact that this kind of harness really does significantly improve performance, mostly at the cost of convenience and east of use, I think. So pilots who prioritise performance will like this kind of gear (or be forced to fly it, even if they don't really want to). Chacun a son gout! 😉
