Made the mistake of opening this after I noticed the upload, so before actually studying. I'm not even at half of the video and already about to fall asleep while I should study, but this just means the video was super relaxing. I especially liked the peripheral checks, idk why but they're usually the part I find more relaxing.

This was quite interesting & engaging for several reasons: (1) Your performance seems so legit, (2) Your real equipment & (3) I made it through the entire video. I always do at least one complete watchthrough of the videos of those I follow. But point (3) is relevant in this case because I tend to have issues watching ASMR videos with a 2nd person in the video. I believe the angles you used, the very natural performance of your “patient” & the fact that I enjoy eye exams made the video comfortable for me. Great stuff, James 👌🏼

Hey Kewas! Thank you so much! Yeah I kinda wanted it to be a halfway between a first person and a third person one, so the viewer could still put themselves in the position of the person having the exam done. I’ll play around with the angles more if/when I do a follow up x
@@kewas_asmr that would usually work but the way my set is set up is it only looks good from the one angle 😂 as soon as I shift it to the side A) you’d only see the wall which would be boring and B) you’d see all the mics and stands and lights that are just out of shot 😂 I don’t mind doing them twice tbf, I could do an eye test in my sleep these days 😂

I was completely side-tracked trying to figure out what the soft background noise was ... the mascot jellyfish lamp out of shot? a spider continuously treading cardboard grapes? rain, eventually figured it was rain on something, such a lovely relaxing noise alongside your calming voice. Nina makes a model patient, those cheekbones, huge eyes and lips, like a Katie Bush / Florence + her machine sitting in front of you. I love the profile POV using the slit lamp too, reminds me of a movie scene, really really enjoyed this, thank you both 💛
really fantastic video very impressed, my only suggestion would be to maybe to use a warmer toned light rather than a colder toned light in future, generally warmer hues are more appealing and also promote sleep:)

True up to the point of timing. In the UK it's ever until the 2 years for a check by the NHS otherwise after ,60 or problems.
