southtownwatersports Would definitely like to see some Nautique and Malibu. Looking into crossover boats so if you could tow a skier, wakeboarder and wake surfer for the boats that are skiable that'd be great! Boats like the GS20 and 2020 20 VTX are boats I'm looking at!
Kasey Uyesugi This channel is a boat dealership and will only review the companies they sell. They sell Supra/Moomba (skiers choice) and Mastercraft. Did you end up choosing a boat yet? VTX doesn’t ski as well as it used to but if you like traditional bows it’s the way to go and is cheaper than the gs20. The gs20 is probably better at everything than the vtx. More space, passenger capacity, better wakes and waves, nicer fit and finish, and skis decently (not like a direct drive) but is more expensive. Either are great boats and those factors mixed with what dealer you have closest to you and which is better to deal with should determine your choice.
Mike Stanley thanks for the info! I haven’t yet. COVID slowed everything down unfortunately. The biggest thing I want is a boat that leans more towards skiing and can still be respected as a board and surf machine. The sound system is probably the second most important. I have a 93 barefoot Sanger right now that has a fantastic ski wake. Super flat wake and great for skiing so that’s what we have now which is why we want a good skier. The Sanger doesn’t have much space so either boat is a big upgrade.
How is the wake in comparison to a G23 ?? I am torn between the G and the SA
