I remember I went to slinky dog dash in 2019, but the line was so long stretching out the to the midway, and it was not moving at all, so my family and I just left and never got to go on.
I remember this coaster being fun and charming! I didn’t experience this one in the back, so I remember preferring Rock N’ Roller Coaster on the other side of the park. If I ever find myself back here, I’ll have to try the back row.
I like your videos, and I really admire your ability to experience these attractions all over the world and relate those experiences to those of us who will never visit a Tivoli, or an Energilandia....We DO visit WDW or UOR yearly, though, and I can honestly say I, and all of us, LOVE SDD and in my opinion, it is the perfect family coaster. "Here We Go"....
I had the privilege of visiting Hollywood studios late last January on a Thursday. While SDD had a 60-90 min wait most of the day, it dropped off to sub-30 min by 8pm (Park closed at 9) which I thought was a perfectly acceptable wait.
Great tips on when to ride! I agree, I wouldn't wait 2 hours to ride. I would like a day & night ride though. Nice Disney thought outside the box when selecting Mack. Though they have used Maurer & Intamin as well.
Honestly I think if this ride launched to 50-60 mph as opposed to the 40 mph the hills and bumps would have given very strong airtime. I think this ride doesn’t give much airtime given how slow it goes through the course but if it accelerated riders 10-20 mph faster than what it does than I think this ride would definitely have some good forces. I think the hills that give no airtime would give at least floater airtime and I think the double dip would give two intense pops of airtime, I also think the bumps would give 4 very strong pops of airtime, I think the airtime could even be RMC level airtime if this launched riders to 60 MPH. How highly do you think you’d rank this if it launched to 50-60 mph and gave very strong airtime on the hills?
Very unfortunate it was under construction when I went. This looks alright but also mediocre. I think this is more of a family coaster by the looks and the light floater pops and weak launches, buy a very fun experience.

That standby line can be miserable.
Yeah, and not to mention the sun was just directly on us and it sucked
Id never attempt it without a fastpass, booked at 7am 60 days out....as you know, ya can't do that no more...
I also missed it for the same reasons. No fast pass could be obtained and a steady line of 70 plus minutes......next!
Rode this coaster 6 times in a row at after-hours. It’s my favorite coaster in Disney.
It's a fun one.

I prefer this to Rock n Roller Coaster surprisingly.
I’m gonna have to agree with you on how good the train design is. It’s very good looking.
They're beautiful.

Glad you like it!
4:08 doesnt Disney usually stops a ride when they see someone filming with their phone?
No, they allow cell phone use on almost every ride. Universal is the strict one.
You can bring a mini fridge on it, they won’t care

That's the time to ride.
Review rock n roller coaster please. Also when were you here?
He has already
I was there 2 months ago. I hope to have a Rock 'n' Roller Coaster one sometime in the next month.
Can you do a series reviewing Alton Towers, its my local park and I'd love to see your take, maybe you could even do a few ride reviews!
I would like to get back there before reviewing the park. I only had one day with limited hours, so my experience was a bit rushed.
Even for a family coaster and in front, there was some light floater airtime.
I prefer it in back though.

The line is the ride's biggest flaw.
Why the update? Just newer thoughts from a recent visit?
Much better audio.
Slinky dog dash was fun, I rode it in 2021 in the spring. As aToy Story fan I love the detail of the whole land.
Me too.
You said It's a Mack Rides Coaster. However the track looks much like Intamin Coaster track.
It is a Mack though.
I rode this at night in the row before the last with lightning lane but when we got off we had to rush to the firework show but it was really fun
Glad you liked it!
ilove the penguin AT THE END
Me too.
Haha. The tension builds 😂
With the new one?
Like, you said tension, like excitement and like a slinky :)
I think it's cute. Great for kids.
Yes

I agree that would make it more thrilling, but it is highly popular with the park's audience at its current thrill level.
“Most people wouldn’t have a problem re-riding it”
As long as they devote a full day to riding it 3 times
Waiting time wise, that's fair. I meant from a ride perspective.
knowing your team, what do you think the best pokemon outright (not inclhding legendaries)?
Starters? Charmander has been my alltime favorite there.
I don’t really believe it’s the best trains on a rollercoaster, but it is pretty neat!
I think they are based on how they look.
Was the girl in front of you allowed to use her phone on the ride
Disney allows phone use on almost all of their rides.
@@CanobieCoaster thank you for the information
honestly if your GP it will be worth it for sure especially for toy story fans
Clearly people will wait for it.
This looks fun it reminds me of flight of the hippogriff at universal
But longer and better.
I personally think the trains on Max & Moritz at Efteling look better, these are also great though!
It's nice those ones have audio, but this wins for the looks.
I wish I rode it! It had an insanely long wait my whole day at the park and unfortunately I decided to skip it
That's fair. It's fun, but DHS has some other rides that are better worth waiting for.
I think this a good attraction but it is short but as weak floater that is good.
It's a great family coaster.
Yep
why didn'tyou give it a 10? I rode this and it was amazing!
Not very forceful even by family coaster standards.
I’m shocked Disney would purchase Such a low Capacity coaster.
Thankfully they send trains fast.
Very unfortunate it was under construction when I went. This looks alright but also mediocre. I think this is more of a family coaster by the looks and the light floater pops and weak launches, buy a very fun experience.
Bummer you missed it.
he reminds me of max from secret life of pets
Slinky? He reminds me more of Buddy.
I swear this thing does not go 40 per hour lol
It definitely feels sluggish.
Expedition Everest & Big Thunder trains look better
Those ones look good, but not this good.
3 hours waiting for this ... Never again
I feel your pain.
