I moved here in 2022 (Land O Lakes/Pasco). The roads are the worst thing about living here. There are many incredibly bad and aggressive drivers on the road now. For those who move to the more "up-and-coming" areas of Tampa Bay, expect to have terrible highway access and traffic no matter which direction you go. It feels incredibly overpopulated and dangerous when driving around. I live in Pasco County, and honestly, the police don't enforce traffic laws much, and overall, there doesn't seem to be enough police to handle the significant population boom. I highly recommend buying a dash camera. Other than the driving experience, living here has been great so far. There are good job opportunities, plenty to do, every type of restaurant you could need, every type of retail you could need, nice neighborhoods, and amazing weather that makes it truly feel like an endless summer.
