I have built several 1911s in my time. And must tell you the appreciation of the parts fitting together and doing a function check has always amazed me. After adding some oil and working the slide until the trigger breaks like a glass rod is the most amazing thing building a 1911. Great content!
Thank you and I agree. I would also add that the nervousness/hesitation when you are about to do something you are unsure of and how the relief/satisfaction/pride when it turns out is an amazing roller coaster ride. (I tried to make that as long of a run on sentence as I could🤣).
When you get a moment, could you email me trainingnobody@gmail.com ? I have question that I’m hoping you could answer. And don’t worry, it’s not about a $3000 1911!
I love a good 1911 build! I have built 2 from 80% Hellfire Armory aluminum frames. The Wilson Combat springs really did a great job for optimum function.
Did you show how you fit the new barrel and bushing to the slide? I thought I watched all the videos in this series but didn’t see anything about the barrel. Thanks for the informative tutorial. I am working on a similar project with a Rock Island.
Projects are fun and I hope yours turns out better than you expect! Looks like you missed 2 videos. Barrel bushing was 10 months ago and the barrel was 9. Hope they help!
It took a while but I hope it was worth the wait! I appreciate all of your advice, encouragement, and support along the way.
@Nobody OMG! That's impressive. From one 1911 enthusiast to another, you did an awesome job! Congrats!
I really appreciate that!

You are a brilliant man. I hope you keep posting.
The next time I do something my wife thinks is stupid, I’m going to show her your post so she will know how wrong she is!
Thanks for watching!
Outstanding! Turned out great. From a $300.00 dog to a $3000.00 masterpiece. The force was with you.
Sold! 🤣 Sorry the wait was so long. Hopefully it was a satisfying conclusion

@@nobodytraining Very satisfying finish for sure. Email sent.
Wow, it turned out amazing! I had the honor to shoot it, and it shoots as well as it looks. You did an amazing job.
Thanks for sharing this outstanding job!
Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching!
Just found your channel this evening. That looks like some mighty fine work you have done there. Looks like I have a bunch more videos to watch now.
Welcome to the channel! I hope you enjoy it and get something out of it 👍

I’m jealous! Someday I want to start from an 80% frame. Maybe the only mistakes I’ll have to fix are my own!
