I'm really amazed by how well the character's emotions are portrayed through the spritework. 20 years later, the pained dialogue sprites of Eliwood, Lyn and Hector express more sorrow than most 3D rendered games are capable of
Speak for you, the only emotion I got by seeing Eliwood and Ninian's relationship is the laziness of its writting and the hate that those who writted it had for fe6 story. Fe7 is Larum's fanfiction and Ninian is her relationship sue self interest.
@@dylanzlol7293as much as I see your point, I believe Eliwood marrying Ninian actually does make the plot of "Roy being able to lift the sword" in FE6 a lot stronger. (Since only Hartmut could wield it, and Roy is not part of his lineage) Because of the quarter dragon genes and him not being a manakete, he can wield the Sealed Sword just fine without the sword going ham on him, like with Durandal going ham on Ninian.
@@suckerman7gmit's explained in fe6 that Roy is able to wield the sealed sword it's because he had the fire emblem with him, and it's never mentionned anywhere in Elibe games that having dragon blood alows you to wield special weapon. In fact one important point of fe6 story is that Roy is really just a normal dude (not even the heir of the largest dukedom of Lycia) who end up becoming a heroe because of his personnal qualities.

Heh, sounds like somebody spends much of his time in the arena. It's a scripted event, otherwise Athos might (somehow) accidentally kill Nergal which would be sort've anti-climatic.

Yes. In Eliwood's mode Nergal will just knock Eliwood out of conscious and skips many dialogues.

Of all options Fiora is the most harmeless since she is a secondary character, the other damage fe6 continuity (Lyn less than Ninian).
