- Day 1 of the Chantilly Card Show was nothing short of great !🙌🏻
We made a Ton of deals as well as buying a couple of collections !
Chantilly is always full of familiar faces to make deals with like the Poobah boys , who we ended up making 3 separate deals with.🤝
Usually we get a bunch of back room content but Friday never usually has any guests ready for signings so Saturday was the day…
Stay tuned for the NEW SHOP & our day 2 vlog 🎥

Really nice of you guys to sit and spend time comping 50+ cards for that guy. As a dealer myself, when someone likes that walks up I ask first for a price for everything. If they don't have one in mind, I say OK - lets comp 5 cards see the total value and if we can make a deal on these 5, I will comp the rest if we are on different planets. I tell them no deal and that's it. Comping a few cards to see where sellers are is always better than doing all the work initially and having them just say no like wtf. Time is money.
Yup, I normally do that but he was told by a friend to come to me because he wanted to sell everything’s so I went in thinking that’s what was going to happen. I was wrong he didn’t care one bit
Gotta love the comp game lol What a waste of time.
It’s called buy and sell, not buy and keep.
There should be a comp service at any show, where you take your cards and someone takes the time to research and comp out your cards - that is if you are too lazy to do it yourself.
Go Tigers! 🐯

Great video. Man that dude would have pissed me off. Do 30 minutes of work just for him to tell you no. I’ve had people do that at some of the local shows. It’s just disrespectful and rude. Always be courteous of people’s time.
18:54, happens all the time with these people fishing for offers. This is why I try to just tell walkups to get their price first and then we will talk, because at least half the time it ends up in them walking way and us wasting time.
Chubby Fluffy Cheap Chains, hobby clown and Detroit poser. Dude likes doughnuts and male attention. Dislike
Keep doing what you love. You are doing a great job and your videos are amazing!!!!!
@@DaveCoolMusic appreciate ya watching ! Thank you !!

That guy was ridiculous
It happens
I appreciate you posting that "30 min time wasting". it is important to value each others time - time is money. It is important for anyone collecting and looking to sell to know the value. Not what you think you can get out of it. Thanks for the video amigo.
Bingo 🎯 appreciate ya watching !
13:08 - I got fleeced outta $100 on my deal...not sure what happened there - $550 for the Russell, $350 for the stack of Lebron 10s/Herbert, and $400 for the Gold Bron/Quad patch - shoulda been $1300...ugh...
Looking back it, I made an offer of $800 & $400 on 2 stacks, that’s $1200. Unless I’m missing something it looks like we went back & added something in to get another $300 in on top of the quad to get to $1200 total
@@santiago_sports_ I think we just miscalculated the deal - we said $800 on the Russell and Lebron stacks - when the offer was actually added up to $900 - we did $400 for the Bron Bowman gold RC and the quad relic - you can see in the vid when we said $550 and $350...and my dumb ass says..."$800"...no wrongdoing on anyone, just a costly brain fart
I see what you’re saying now ! Guess we went thru it pretty quick. Just made sense for both of us at the time, next show we’ll add $100 to our deal 🤝
There needs to be more footage of guys like the one you dealt with and calling these guys out when they flat out waste your time
People like the fluff stuff, we try to keep it as real as possible. It’s not all sunshine & rainbows !
Literally had that same kinda dude last Dallas show. Told me “I just need it all gone” I spend almost 2 hours comping everything out, offer almost 85%. Annnnnnddd “nah I could get $300 for this $40 card”. Ruined my day.
@@ThePrizmFather brutal man. I had this in shop too , comped about 200 card code a guy , straight up said no after almost 2 hours of getting it done while he stood there & watched us work. We added it up, made an offer & got a straight up NO. Not a counter, nothing.
@@santiago_sports_your offer was insulting to him. That's my friend. He said you pissed him off
@@Henleyrocks I am insulted by your friend's laziness.
@@Henleyrocks he never gave him an offer though so how could he insult the guy?? your friend should appreciate they told him the value of his collection.
@prospectsrus282 if you think that when Santiago is comping like that he isn't low balling or taking advantage of the low sale comp when there is a better comp then you are just not smart.
Coming up to Toronto next weekend?
Nope
That Miami heat quad patch for sale?
Already sold
Pressing lil kids to get $5 extra on a $150 deal.😂😂😂
He just wanted to know what you thought and then gonna go somewhere else
Good Sh!t T!…. and crew!
Thanks My man !
Kid got fleeced valuing that Knecht at $5
That’s what it was worth give or take at the time man
Before commenting stuff like this, maybe consider when the show took place. You can google it and then refer to the comps before that day. It was a 3-10$ card. it's an unnumbered purple shimmer. He wasn't "fleeced", stop being a weirdo.
Can’t be the buyer and the seller it almost felt like he didn’t even wanna sell the cards to begin with
What up SS
Yooooo
“I could get more for these” it’s like bro, those are theeee comps what do you even mean
Bingo
