Looks far more enjoyable than rain drenched Edinburgh. Good work Alex!

You should have seen the last couple of the days. I've never seen so much rain, hail and lightning. It was nice when the sun finally came out.

How long can you ski for before getting on a lift?

From the top of the gondola to the bottom of the glacier can be completed in 2 pistes (with the funicular station in the middle). enough skiing for the 4 hours a day the lifts are effectively open.

Would you recommend summer skiing or is it best just to hold out until winter

its definitely a bucket list item. Skiing in the summer is so different. Starting at 7am until 12 and then down the mountain for more warmer summer stuff.
