My mom had 7 children when she was widowed during the depression. She washed clothes on a wash board. Walked where she went because they had no car. There were times when all there was to eat was black walnuts from their tree. This was how the women that came before us lived everyday. I consider myself very spoiled when I compare my life to hers. She lived to 93 , I miss her everyday of my life.

The girls are all old enough to pitch in. I was 10 as well as 2 of my girlfriends and 1 cousin. We all had chores to do every day at home. Starting with basics, keep your own room neat and clean, put dirty clothes in hamper or basket, help set dinner table and after eating clearing the table. Sweeping or moping floor kitchen floor. Today’s youngsters have so many conveniences. It would be so easy for them to help. Plus you can purchase items that are safe for them to use. It all starts with family values and pitching in. None of my friends or cousin ever complained. We were glad to help. Chores were added as we got older. I like their family but the parents have to start now before it’s too late.

She needs physical help? Their 6 kids are not babies and should be helping with things. I think a lot of Danielle's problem is that she's a control freak.....imo.
That is just the way it is when you work and, have kids and, housework to do. You also have a lot of laundry to do too. She has 6 girls that can help out too. They need to learn responsibility and, help with housework. They are old enough to pack their own lunches at night and, store them in the refrigerator. They can pick out what they want to wear to school the night before and, get their self dressed by themselves.bGirls their ages are not helpless.

You must learn and then teach your girls how to share their feelings. You will be amazed at how much sharing love, feelings and emotions will change your lives. Please make therapy a priority for yourself.

Hi Danielle you are amazing ! Not very many people can do what you do. Starting each day in prayer and giving it all to Jesus will be a start. Try to be positive about things instead of worrying what you’re not doing. No it won’t make everything go away, but it will be a lot more manageable. I’m not an expert but I have been married 45 years and am the soundboard for all my families problems. Starting with my mom! My husband and I still have a date night. That gets you away from a routine once a week. I love it!!! Please take care of yourself and don’t beat yourself up. God Bless you and your family.

I, myself live with 4 autoimmune system diseases, one being a liver disease and I for one do not just stay in bed every day and demand that my husband do my responsibilities or wait on me hand and foot like Danielle does because she is living with just 1 autoimmune disease and can’t handle things on her own. There are many, many women out there Danielle who do not have the resources, or spouse or a highly rated TV show to fall back on when the going gets tough. Try being without those bonuses AND raising 8 or more kids BY YOURSELF, then you can talk stress and how you don’t know how to cope. I also deal with a severe and persistent mental illness and have been in therapy for a long time and the attitudes that both Adam and you present to the world against therapy really presents a side that those who seek it or have any problems mentally are the problems themselves. I finally just stopped watching your show because I was so sick of the entitledness on your part. If you have problems then deal with them and if you have issues go to therapy to figure them out.
Danielle needs intense therapy to see that she is not perfect and cannot control every aspect of their lives. They made the mistake of spoiling those girls and not giving them chores to do around the house. The girls are sweet but they get out of control and make enormous messes and aren't made to ckean them up. They are old enough to not do these things. Rach one should be helping out around the house and folding their own clothes. But Danielle doesn't trust snybody to do anything. She should never have opened that store until the girls were older. She wants Adam to be home but she doesn't trust him to do things correctly. She has no idea what a great husband she has.
