    I like the video. The only thing I would add is that if your trade is not in profit, don't add more money to it. Add more only when you're in profit. That helps reduce the odds of losing money on the trade, as well as puts more in so you can potentially get larger gains. In other words, if you buy at 100, and it drops to 90, don't buy another lot to avg down to 95. That just puts double the money in losing territory. On the other hand, if you buy at 100, and it goes to 110, buying another lot puts your avg at 105 and you're still in profit and can have a stop so that there's no chance of losing.

    And add to that the daily /weekly main pivots along with the openings, in fact the weekly pivots will determine the direction of PA provided you've done your homework.

    I'm looking at AAPL's chart from Friday. The impulse move was a move up on high volume. According to your strategy (and others who apply this traditional trade the trend move), if one had bought on a pull-back, one would have lost because price went up a little, but then proceeded to go from upper all the way down to lower VWAP. The best move would have been to fade the first impulse move of the day. I've seen a lot of traders advocate your strategy, but I think fading the first move is more effective. Fading the move works 85% of the time.

    What happens if the stock is trading during pre market.... which open i respect or obey ? pre market or according to your video when is 9:30 ?

    • @TradeProAcademy
      @TradeProAcademy  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Ruben, you respect both as a level and obey neither. In fact, you obey nothing in trading. There is only one open however, and that's the 9:30AM US session open, so that is the more important level. In fact, there are a few other levels you need to observe very closely that we teach in our futures trading course. These are levels used by pros at institutions. Hope this helps, have a great weekend. - George

    • @TradeProAcademy
      @TradeProAcademy  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As long as you tighten the risk up and can get a free runner it's a great idea. Working into a longer term day trade and scaling up is awesome in trends. Just careful with that strategy in the summer market, better off to take full profit and lock it in. Hope this helps, great question. - George

    Incredibly new guy question. Is this strategy applicable for stocks? I looked up the fundamental differences between stocks and futures but wanted to know if this strategy is applicable to both.

    • @TradeProAcademy
      @TradeProAcademy  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Bo, welcome and congrats on starting your journey in this industry - love to see new people. This strategy works for stocks also, its basically a momentum strategy and once you get a position going in your favor you want to sell to take some profits its not a buy short term and hold until it comes back type of approach. Hope this helps and welcome to our community. - George

    I'm confused by what you offer. You seem to be a futures trader. I think in another video you said you only trade futures because it is more tax efficient and you'd have to pay much more taxes if you traded equities. But when I go to the website, it sounds like you are teaching stocks and options more. It sounds like futures is more of an afterthought. The marketing strategy leaves me a bit confused of what it is you specialize in, but I'm looking for a trading room that trades the /es or /nq on the US market open. Do you guys do that in the trading room every day?

    • @TradeProAcademy
      @TradeProAcademy  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Stephen, the day trading package is focused on futures and our live trading room every morning is all equity futures, oil futures and occasionally FX. We have an oil desk and equity desk that function on the overlap of the US and EU session. Hope to see you in our room, we have a 14 day money back guarantee so it's risk free. Have a good day pal. - George
