    That’s some hectic stuff the Jimmy acquitted itself unbelievably well, also big skills and guts coming from you. Well done to tackle the big boys.

    Wow that is a BRUTAL route! Interesting to see how the sheer size and mods of the Hummer can just overcome certain obstacles but the weight can then hamper it on the next. It was also nice to see that the nimble Jimny can alter its line to overcome obstacles not possible for bigger vehicles. Well done Jimny didnt think it will keep up with such modified beasts. Compliments Raymond I suspect the Pucker factor was 4.3 / 5?

      Hi Francois , we had a great day out , it was a very technical drive , I think the big discussion now would be , with a few mods and a bit of experience Jimnies can keep up with the big boys 🤣

      Unless we count 35" tyres (from Standard 31") as mods, the HUMMERs come that way off the factory floor.
      I was one of the drivers on the day. Just as a matter of interest, changing from 265/75/16 (31") to 315/75/16 (35") does not require any suspension or tupperware modifications on the HUMMERs.

    Hi There, first of all, thank you for your channel. I am learning a lot, as I would one day like to own a Jimny. Would it be possible for you to turn down your background music so one can clearly hear what you are saying, it is very loud. The information you give us potential Jimny owners is of great value so we need to be able to hear what you are saying. Thank you for all your input, it is greatly appreciated. Blessings Marthinus

      Hi martinus , we have improved our filming and editing skills , sometimes we do run into problems with the equipment , but I do believe our newer videos are a bit better since we got a new camera system at great cost.

    I heard the car body on the round at fw instances . Any damage ?
    Was the Jimny under body protected ?
    If tes what kind of protection ?

    • @justjimny
      @justjimny  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have radial cup protectors and rocksliders , they took most of the scraping and scratching you heard.

      Hi Raymond .
      Is Radial a brand name ?
      If not which brand do you recommend ?
      How many cups did you get under ?
      Are the cups easy to fix ?

    • @justjimny
      @justjimny  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jean-lucbernois2211 hi , you need to fit 4 for the jimny , its a easy install if the radial cup protectors are designed well.

      Most people do not know the vehicles mechanically, which is where the berating came from.
      I did my research very well before purchasing mine 9 years ago, w.r.t transfer case ratios, axle ratios, locking differentials, traction control on low-range, etc.
      I have to say I have dropped mine in 1000mm of water and gone up some crazy inclines (it is the Adventure with a 4.03:1 transfer case and 4.56:1 diff (axle) ratios and lived to tell the tale.

    Hi Raymond .
    What a tough trail !.
    Was your Jimny with standard équipement ou already with BFG très and Tough Dog 40 mm suspension ?

    • @justjimny
      @justjimny  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jean-Luc , I was able to keep up with them for the day , I would suggest 235/75R15 tyres if you are planning trails like these on a regular basis.

    Conclusion: Jimny cannot drive anywhere

    • @justjimny
      @justjimny  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The wheel size limits the Jimny a bit , but if you are building a pure 4x4 toy with 235s 60-80mm lift and difflocks , it will do much more extreme trails. Mine is setup as an all rounder not just a 4x4 toy.
